3. The Fish & Game scientist at the beginning, the deputy, and the old man who used to live by the lake.
yes. There were really 2 adult crocodiles, plus some baby crocs. The characters (except for Betty White's) weren't aware of the second adult until they trapped the first one. The second surprised them and Hank shot its head off. No one found out about the babies though.
cow . Hector says that the cow disappoints him.

Black Lake. Because the water was so black. That's creativity right there.
Beaver. In the scene, the Sheriff Keough sits in the boat (eating a Twinkie) while the SCUBA diver is underwater trying to tag beaver. What happens next really gives the movie bite. Har-har-har.

Timber. Bridget Fonda, who played the somewhat high-maintenance Kelly, has been in many other films, including the 1989 flick, "Shag", in which she costarred with Daryl Hannah's sister, Page.
Hector Cyr. Hector says this during the party scene, in reference to Deputy Sharon Gare, played by Meredith Salenger. Meredith enjoyed childhood fame as the title character in the Disney movie, "The Journey of Natty Gann."
swallowed. The last line was spoken by Sheriff Keough during the first visit to the home of Mrs. Bickerman, who was played by Betty White. After seeing her performance in the movie, I just couldn't look at "Golden Girls" the same way...
Kelly Scott.. What kind of movie would it have been without the male and female leads ending up together?
1. Though two large crocodiles emerge from the lake at roughly the same time, one is killed, while the other is sedated. That question was a gimme.
