Plain. Ben has just woken up from a nap. He is very shaky and needs a drink. Sera is in the kitchen chopping vegetables. She sees him heading towards the fridge and tells him, "I bought some plain rice. I know you probably don't want to hear it right now, but I think it's something that you could eat. If you get hungry will you let me know?"

Mobster. "Lonely teardrops. My pillow never dries..." The recurring theme song is sung by Michael McDonald. It can be found on the CD "The New York Rock and Soul Revue- Live at the Beacon". It is NOT on the movie soundtrack. This is the exact version heard in the movie.
Julian Lennon. Ben is flirting with a girl at a local bar as her jealous boyfriend glares from a distance. When she clumsily bangs up to him, Ben says, "You don't kick the bar. Lean into the bar."
