driving. He said he was driving past a street called, 'Gale Drive', and thought it would be a good name.
death by lethal injection. He died at 6:12 p.m on day four of the film.
Kevin Spacey . The film also starred Kate Winslet as Bitsey Bloom the reporter.
Bitsey Bloom. She played the reporter who battled to save David's life.
She killed herself. She killed herself but David and Dusty were in on it.

His ex-wife and son. Right away, David asks Bitsey not ask questions about his ex-wife and son. The other options, although they are sensitive issues, are talked about quite frequently throughout the movie.

Hitler. David uses this quote to trip up the Governor of Texas during a debate about captial punishment.
ugly. David was drunk and stumbling down the street lecturing the people on the street about philosophy. He said that Socrates was ugly, Plato was fat and Aristotle was a prissy dresser.
Radio Shed. David was fired from the University because a student charged him with rape.
6:12 p.m.. He was sentenced to death at 6 o'clock but was pronouced dead at 6:12. Bitsey did not make it to the prison on time to save him.
Bananas. This was the dish that his son wanted for breakfast. His son wanted pancakes with strawberries, whip cream and chocolate shavings. He remembered this and requested this meal before he died.
Jamie. David loved his son very much and took good care of him. Unfortunately, his ex-wife did not allow David to see his son after their divorce.
Zack. Zack travelled with Bitsey to Texas to interview David. He helped her discover the truth.
Governor Hardin. He supported the death penalty and had a debate with David. David lost this debate but at the end of this movie David got the final laugh.
