Its opening sequence (featuring the now famous cartoon character) was 7 and a half minutes long. The cat slunk on the screen to Henry Mancini's winning score. United Artists later gave the Pink Feline his own cartoon, after recieving large amounts of letters, all expressing the desire for more of the cat.
