A cell phone. After trying the Red Tape virus on the main pulse system, Mattie and Dexter discover that there really may be no way to stop the horrors lurking on every computer screen, so they decide to flee. After stopping on an empty country road, the two fall asleep and awaken to hear a radio announcement from the military. The announcement says that all computers, cell phones, and electronic devices can hone the pulse and Mattie realizes her cell phone is on. The two are attacked by the pulse, but they escape when they lose the signal on the phone.

Isabell. Before she has a chance to escape, Isabell is attacked by a pulse ghost in her washing machine. This causes her to be infected by the horrible disease. Before she turns to ash, she is found in her room by Mattie and she describes what it feels like to slowly deteriorate. Isabell's role is played by famous singer Christina Milian.

In the basement of a computer lab. After hacking into Josh's computer, Dexter realizes that Josh acquired the pulse after hacking into Zieglar's computer. Using the info he finds, he manages to track down Zieglar and he and Mattie talk to him about the pulse. He describes how he unlocked the evil frequency and how there's probably no way to stop it. To reach it they have to find their way into the basement of the computer labs on the college campus (there's always a catch). Since the computer labs are filled to the brim with computers, the pulse is waiting for them.

Ashes. When a victim has been attacked and they've had their life-force sucked up by the pulse, they will have a sort of disease spread through their body. This will cause them to have blackened skin and they'll eventually lose the will to live. After the virus has spread, they'll disintegrate into black ash. This happens to Mattie's roommate Isabell as they are speaking.

Do you want to see a ghost?. Although Josh's computer is used as the example in this question, many characters se this screen on their computers and decide to witness the ghosts first hand. What they see are people attempting to kill themselves on the screen. Unknowingly, when viewers look into the eyes of the victims, they are basically marked and hunted down by the pulse.

Red tape. Three days before killing himself, Josh sent Mattie a package filled with three rolls of red masking tape. According to Zieglar, near the end of the film, the red tape has the power to block out the evil pulse 'ghosts' due to their frequencies. Josh's (and Zieglar's) room is covered with red tape to keep out the pulse, and after witnessing the ghosts, Tim tries the same thing. The virus that Josh created to stop the pulse is aptly named 'Red Tape'.

Dexter. After Josh hangs himself with his computer mouse in his apartment, Mattie and her friends begin receiving e-mails from Josh titled 'Help Me!'. She returns to his apartment to find that it's been cleared out, but the landlord mentions that she sold the computer and she gives Mattie the name of the new owner. Dexter is played by Ian Somerhalder, who fans of "LOST" will recognize. He played Boone in the first season of the show.

Dr. Waterson. After Josh's death, Mattie visits her psychiatrist a few times, and it is apparent that she needs help, after she watches the horrible videos generated by 'the pulse'. Dr. Waterson feels that the pulse demons, that are actually following her around, are actually her 'demons' created by the fact that she thinks that she caused Josh's death. Although we don't know for sure, he probably changes his mind when he's another victim of the pulse.

Josh. Josh is one of the first to become a victim of the pulse and he is one of the first to be 'infected' in the film. He downloads the pulse after hacking into Ziegler's computer and it forces him to watch the images that ultimately lead to him being a victim. Josh ends up hanging himself in his apartment, to escape the torturous souls that are causing him to shut down. It is because of him that the main characters are thrown into the mess.
no one. Dexter tried but failed. The system rebooted itself and they had to run for their lives. The survivors had to start a new life in an area with no wi-fi capabilities.
Telecom Project. It was a school project he had been working on with a group of friends. He referred to the project as his baby. He also said he watched all of his friends die because of it. By then, the poor guy had completely lost his mind.

Cozumel. When Izzy 'incinerated' (that's the only way I know how to explain it), she got bits of black ash all over Mattie's shirt. The only time I was aware of seeing the whole front of the shirt was at the mirror right before she pulled it off. The 'Z' in Cozumel looked like it might be a seahorse.
the dryer. That ghost had a bunch of arms. Izzy was held up against a washer while the ghost sucked all of the happiness out of her soul. By the way, if you are alone and the dryer starts shooting clothes out at you....get the heck out of there!

the old man. It showed a waitress but she didn't say anything. Only the older man shouting doomsday theories and the goth girl spoke. The girl only had a few lines which were pretty much telling the old dude off.

The Ring. You saw what looked like a computer printout of the ring. It was hanging just behind Mattie and Dexter when they were looking at the freaky images that mysteriously appeared on Josh's computer.
a pencil. The scene showed her from behind several times and she had a pencil stuck in her hair. A ghost followed her in the bathroom and when she went to wash her hands, she got spooked and ran out.
Ian Somerhalder. Dexter bought Josh's computer and Mattie found him, thinking that he had been sending cryptic messages to their group of friends. Ian is probably best known for his portrayal of Boone on ABC's "Lost". Unfortunately, he was killed off in Season One.

a fan. It was Josh's landlady. Mattie was looking for Josh's computer which had been sold for back rent. Mattie was enraged to hear this and threatened to call the cops. The landlady gave Mattie the returned check from the guy who bought the computer so she could find him. Why exactly she was holding a fan was never explained.
Wanna dance. It was in the beginning of the movie at the bar. Mattie thought it would be Josh. She didn't know that he had been attacked by a cyber ghost. It was obvious that Tim was crushing on Mattie, but she was preoccupied with not having talked to Josh. Moments later, they decided to leave the bar.
