Tatyana Ali. The little girl was played by Tatyana Ali. In the opening scene, she was singing "Why do Fools Fall in Love?" by Frankie Lymon.
You may also know Tatyana Ali from her role on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" starring Will Smith. She played Ashley Banks.
Johnny Carson. It was this that launched Eddie Murphy's topic of the danger of giving half of your money after divorce. "Johnny must have had 300 million. He had to give his wife 150 million?"

As many of you may already know, Johnny Carson was a famous late night talk show host, who was the subject of the famous call: "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeres Johnny!" Upon retiring, Carson was replaced by Jay Leno. Sadly, Johnny Carson has since passed away.

Richard Pryor. When he was 15, Eddie Murphy wanted to be Richard Pryor so badly, that he would walk, talk and act like him. His whole act was about sitting on the toilet, but he made them sound like Richard Pryor jokes.
In case you don't know, Richard Pryor was a popular comedian in the 80s. He was so funny that when Comedy Central made a list of the 100 funniest stand-up comedians of all time, they ranked Pryor as number one!
