Red Dragon
Horace. Hannibal says, "Think to yourself that everyday is your last; the hour to which you do not look forward will come as a welcome surprise. As for me, when you want a good laugh, you will find me, in a fine state, fat and sleek, a true hog of Epicurus' herd."
Benjamin Rasphail, flute. We first hear about Rasphail in the movie "Silence of the Lambs," after Clarice finds his head in a jar in the storage shed.
"If I tell you, I am afraid you won't even try it.". Afterwards, they all laugh it off, not knowing that they are indeed eating their missing symphony player.
The oysters from either side of the back. Graham tells Lecter that he suspects that the killer is not saving the pieces he is cutting from the victims, but instead is eating them.
Darcy Taylor. Graham mentions that Darcy was cut up to get at the most tender part of her when they found her.
Forensic Psychiatrist. Graham asks Hannibal how he missed the information about the body parts, since Hannibal is the "best forensic psychiatrist around."
Will Graham . Admitting to Hannibal that they have been looking for the wrong type of killer, Hannibal says that he made a mistake.
Larousse Gastronomique. While Graham waits for Lecter to get his coat, he looks around Lecter's room and finds the book.
Ris de veau. After reading this, poor Will realizes that Hannibal is the killer.

Barney, the orderly. Although Chilton is mentioned in all three, and is played by the same actor in "Red Dragon" and "Silence of the Lambs," he is not seen in "Hannibal." Jack was played by Scott Glenn in "Silence" and Harvey Keitel in "Red Dragon." Don't make me explain the horror that was Julianne Moore as Clarice in "Hannibal." Personally, I am still choked about Jodie not being in it.
Hobbs. Graham asked for Lecter's help on the Hobbs case, which ended badly for Graham, although he did catch the killer.
