City of Angels. Ryan plays Maggie, a doctor who keeps running into the same guy. He says his name is Seth, but that's about all the personal information she can get out of him. She's interested in him, and while walking her dog in the park, runs into him yet again. She wants a way to contact him, but he says he'll contact her. It turns out he's secretive because he's an angel.
IQ. IQ stars Tim Robbins as Ed, a mechanic, and Meg Ryan as Catherine, the niece of Albert Einstein. Ed is in love with Catherine but she's engaged to someone else. Fortunately for Ed, Catherine's Uncle Albert likes him and Uncle Albert and his buddies put their considerable brain power towards helping Ed get Catherine to fall in love with him.
You've Got Mail. Kathleen Kelly has a cold, so Joe Fox comes to bring her flowers (daisies). She's a bit tipsy from cold medicine, and during this visit, she begins to catch a glimmer of an idea that Joe might actually be her mysterious email buddy, NY152. He has said a few things that relate to their email correspondence, particulary during this visit. As she begins to berate him, he gently covers her mouth with his hand and tells her to stop talking because she'll only regret what she's going to say. Also, he brought the daisies, which she had mentioned in a email were her favorite. This is the first time she mentions to Joe Fox that an email buddy even exists.
Kevin Kline. Meg plays a woman named Kate, who has to get to France to confront her unfaithful fiance. While on a plane, Kate is spotted by a French thief (Kevin Kline) who decides she would be useful in his smuggling operation. Kevin Kline won an Academy Award for his performance in the comedy film, "A Fish Called Wanda". Kevin married actress, Phoebe Cates, in 1989.
Matthew Broderick. The two play opposites who come together to try and get their exes (who are now seeing each other) back. While on their mission, the two end up falling in love with each other. Matthew was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance in the film, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". Matthew married "Sex In The City" star, Sarah Jessica Parker, in 1997.
Andy Garcia. Meg plays an alcoholic who is married to an airline pilot (Andy Garcia). After she returns home from a rehab clinic, she and her husband seek marriage counseling to try and save their marriage. Andy Garcia was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in, "The Godfather: Part III". Andy Garcia was born in Havana, Cuba.
Alec Baldwin. The two play complete opposites who fall in love and marry. At the wedding, an old mysterious man asks to kiss the bride (Meg). She accepts which leads to a supernatural occurrence which involves the soul switching of the old man and the bride. Alec Baldwin is the most prolific and famous member of the famous Baldwin family. Alec was married to actress, Kim Basinger, from 1993-2002.
Nicolas Cage. Meg plays a workaholic doctor who ends up falling in love with an angel(Nicholas Cage) she spots in an operating room. The Angel must make a decision to either go back and spend eternity in heaven or stay on Earth with the woman he loves. Nicholas won an Academy Award in 1996 for the film, "Leaving Las Vegas". Nicholas is the nephew of the Academy Award winning directer, Francis Ford Coppola.
Tom Hanks. The film is about a recently widowed man (Tom Hanks)who finds his soul mate through a radio talk show. Meg plays Annie Reed, who is also having trouble finding the right person. The film was nominated for two Academy Awards and was also the second time the two (Meg and Tom) worked together. They worked together again in the film, "You've Got Mail", back in 1998. Tom got his first Academy Award for the film, "Philadelphia", in 1994.
Russell Crowe. Meg plays a woman named Alice who is in Columbia with her husband Peter(David Morse). When Peter is kidnapped, an expert investigator, Terry Thorne, comes in the story to help Alice rescue Peter. While on their rescuing mission, the two end up falling for each other. Russell Crowe won an Academy Award for his starring role in the action film, "Gladiator". He married actress, Danielle Spencer, in April of 2003.
Tim Robbins. Tim plays an auto mechanic who is a hopeless romantic and is very smart. Meg plays a scientist who only wants to marry a man with a high I.Q. because she thinks her children might inherit it. After he falls for her, he seeks tutoring from her uncle, Albert Einstein, who he feels can make him more intelligent. Tim won an Academy Award for his supporting role in the film, "Mystic River". He was nominated for another Academy Award for Best Director for his film, "Dead Man Walking".
Billy Crystal. Meg plays Sally, who has been friends with Harry (Billy Crystal) for quite some time. The two start wondering if their relationship could tun sexual without ruining their friendship or turning romantic. The writer of the film, Nora Ephron, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. This film also got Billy a Golden Globe nomination. He and his wife Janice married in 1970 and have two children together.
