In "Star Trek: Generations", when did Captain Harriman say he remembered reading about Kirk’s missions?Star Trek Generations

in grade school. When Captain Harriman first spoke to Captain Kirk, on the bridge of the Enterprise B, Harriman stated that he remembered reading about Kirk's missions in grade school. The underlying humor for the beginning of the movie was that Kirk was old.

The Enterprise B was the first starship Enterprise in 30 years without James T. Kirk in command. Who asked Kirk about how this made him feel?Star Trek Generations

A female Federation News Service reporter. When Kirk and party entered the bridge of the Enterprise B, they couldn't even make it off the turbolift before having questions and cameras put in front of them. While there were many cameramen and several civilians on the bridge associated with the press, only two reporters were notable on film; a male and female reporter. It was the female reporter who posed the question to Kirk about how he felt about not being in command of the newest Enterprise. Since Kirk was seen as a legend, this was apparently interesting news.

Tim Russ played an officer on the Enterprise B's bridge; what was his rank?Star Trek Generations

lieutenant. Tim Russ, who played several roles throughout three different "Star Trek" series (including Tuvok), also played a human Starfleet officer, who was a bridge officer posted on the Enterprise B. The character was never named. You have to look closely, but in one or two quick shots you can see his rank. The insignia was on sideways, but he did, in fact, play a lieutenant.

Who was able to transport survivors from the Lakul to the Enterprise B?Star Trek Generations

Scotty. After the Lakul's sister ship, the Robert Fox, was destroyed and the Lakul's hull integrity was failing, Scotty had to grab as many people as he could. The total number of people that were saved from the Lakul was 47 out of 150. Amoung those "saved" were Guinan and Soran.

In "Star Trek: Generations" Kirk was thought to be lost when the Nexus struck the Enterprise B. What area of the ship was Kirk in when the ship was struck?Star Trek Generations

deflector relays, port side. At first, Harriman was going to go to the deflector relays but Kirk knew that Harriman's place was on the bridge of his ship. (Why an engineer couldn't get there first, well that's not in the script!) After the ship broke free, it was struck by the Nexus which damaged sections 20 - 28 on decks 13, 14, and 15. Ensign Sulu was the one who called out the damage report and was the first one to realize that Kirk might be dead. Deck 15, section 21A on the Enterprise B is where the deflector relays are located, according to Ensign Sulu. Based upon where the ship was hit, and the fact that Kirk was lost, we know that the deflector relays were located on the port side of the engineering (or secondary) hull. Port is a nautical term meaning the left hand side of a vessel for an observer facing forward.

In "Star Trek: Generations" Picard stated that one of his ancestors won a Nobel Prize; what was it for?Star Trek Generations

chemistry. After Picard found out that his brother and nephew were killed in a fire, Picard was understandably distraut. Right before the Armagosa star went nova, Picard was in his quarters looking through his family album and Troi walked in. Picard and Troi then struck up a conversation about family and Picard revealed several notable ancestors, including the Picard who won the Nobel Prize for chemistry.

In "Star Trek: Generations", the Enterprise B was damaged while escaping the Nexus. What damage did Ensign Sulu report?Star Trek Generations

buckling in the starboard nacelle. Ensign Sulu stated that there was buckling in the starboard nacelle and a hull breach in the engineering section...specifically sections 20-28 on decks 13, 14, and 15. Kirk was in the deflector relay room on deck 15, section 21A.

In "Star Trek: Generations", who stated that Dr Soran was over 300 years old?Star Trek Generations

Crusher. When Dr. Crusher was reviewing his file, she found out that Soran was El-Aurian and over 300 years old and the fact that he was rescued by the Enterprise B. This was a significant discovery as it led to Picard asking Guinan about Soran.

In "Star Trek: Generations", other than stellar cartography, what room did we see for the first time on the Enterprise D?"Star Trek: Generations" II

Guinan's quarters. Stellar cartography and Guinan's quarters were the new rooms introduced during this movie. We saw her quarters when Picard went to talk with Guinan to find out more information about Soran and the Nexus. This was also a rare (if not the only) time we saw Guinan without a hat on. (All those candles and Guinan's long hair...what a fire hazard!) We've seen the Ten Forward office before during the run of the series, but never Guinan's quarters.

When Picard and Data were in stellar cartography, Data stated that the Veridian system had two class M worlds, one of which was uninhabited (Veridian III). The other supported a society of 230 million people. What level of development was Veridian IV's society at?"Star Trek: Generations" II

pre-industrial. Picard and Data were in stellar cartography trying to figure out Soran's strategy and how to stop him. When it became apparent that Soran was headed towards the Veridian system, Picard asked Data for information. Data stated that the Veridian System had two Class M worlds, one that supported a pre-industrial society with a population of 230 million.

In "Star Trek: Generations", who stated "That is a Galaxy-Class starship, we are no match for them!"?"Star Trek: Generations" II

B'Etor. The Bird of Prey was cloaked when the Enterprise arrived at Veridian III. This presented Soran with a bit of a problem, so he instructed Lursa and B'Etor to deal with them to which B'Etor stated "That is a Galaxy-Class starship, we are no match for them!" Soran's reply was to give LaForge's eyesite back. Of course, this was where Soran implanted a transmitter in LaForge's V.I.S.O.R. (V.I.S.O.R. is an acronym for Visual Instrument and Sensory Organ Replacement.)

In "Star Trek: Generations", what kind of eggs did Kirk prepare for Antonia when he was at his log cabin in the Nexus?"Star Trek: Generations" II

Ktarian eggs. While in Kirk's house in the Nexus, Kirk stated to Picard, after Kirk had picked up two eggs, that they were Ktarian eggs, her (meaning Antonia's) favorite. Regova and Tasper Eggs were both native to Cardassia; Talaxian eggs were Talaxian which was a species encountered by the USS Voyager in the Delta quadrant.

In "Star Trek: Generations", Data suggested sending out what kind of pulse to trigger the Bird of Prey's cloaking device? "Star Trek: Generations" II

ionic pulse. After the Klingons started shooting up the Enterprise, Riker asked Data if the Bird of Prey's defective plasma coil would be suseptable to some kind of ionic pulse. Data stated that sending a low-level ionic pulse would reset the plasma coil, thereby triggering the cloaking device. This would give the Enterprise an advantage as it would mean the Bird of Prey's shields would drop. The Enterprise only had to fire one photon torpedo to destroy the Bird of Prey once their shields were down.

After the Bird of Prey had been destroyed, engineering was a mess. What was the last thing to go before LaForge ordered an evacuation of main engineering and notified the bridge of a warp-core breach?"Star Trek: Generations" II

plasma coolant leak. The magnetic interlocks were indeed ruptured, but the final straw was when the plasma coolant began to leak. Why they didn't just eject the core? Well, that wasn't in the script! Magnetic constrictors were not mentioned in the movie. A polaric modulator was a device that could dilute a subatomic particle stream, similar to how a carburetor dilutes gasoline with air. This was used by Tom Paris in "Star Trek: Voyager".

What was the name and class of starship that beamed Picard and Riker up at the end of "Star Trek: Generations"?"Star Trek: Generations" II

USS Farragut, Nebula. The last scene of the movie showed Picard and Riker rummaging through Picard's ready room, looking for the Picard Family Album. They stepped onto the bridge, had a brief conversation about the D not being the last ship to bear the name 'Enterprise' after which Picard tapped his combadge and stated "Picard to Farragut..." As the Nebula class ship departed orbit, we were able to see the name, USS Farragut and NCC-60597 on the side which matched the registery for the USS Farragut.

In "Star Trek: Generations", what was Kirk's dog's name?"Star Trek: Generations" II

Butler. When Picard met up with Kirk in the Nexus at Kirk's log cabin, Kirk was chopping wood. Kirk then moved to the kitchen with Picard following. Kirk's dog, a Great Dane, showed up and Kirk exclaimed "Butler!"

In "Star Trek: Generations", what spice did Kirk ask Picard to get for him?"Star Trek: Generations" II

dill. In Kirk's kitchen at his log cabin in the Nexus, Kirk started cooking Ktarian eggs while Picard went on about how dire the situation was. Kirk's response was "dill," which confused Picard for a moment. The dill was located on the second shelf behind the oregano.

Three starships (a Nebula, Miranda, and Oberth) came to the rescue of the Enterprise D after it had crash landed. In what order did they enter warp at the end of "Star Trek: Generations"?"Star Trek: Generations" II

Oberth, Miranda, Nebula. Three Federation ships came to the Enterprise's rescue, an Oberth, a Miranda, and a Nebula. The Nebula (the USS Farragut) was the one that beamed Picard and Riker up. At the very end, the three ships broke orbit and went into warp. The order was smallest to largest, Oberth, Miranda, and Nebula.
