The Crying Game. The revelation that his girlfriend was a boyfriend came as a bit of a shock to Stephen Rea! The other three are all Neil Jordan films.
Dean Devlin. He also collaborated with Roland Emmerich on "Independence Day" and "The Patriot". Randall Wallace wrote "Braveheart". Robert Rodat wrote the screenplay to "The Patriot" and "Saving Private Ryan".
Abydos. The others are all from "Star Trek".
Mario Kassar. He was also executive producer on, among others, "Cliffhanger", "Terminator 2", "Total Recall" and "Universal Soldier". Mel Gibson's production company is called "Icon".

Kalium Galaxy. The Andromeda Galaxy is the nearest galaxy to our own. The Milky Way Galaxy is our own galaxy. There is an observatory named after the Kalium galaxy. It can be found at the Saskatchewan Science Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Triangulum Galaxy is located at 01 33.9 right ascension and 30 39 declination, second star to the right and straight on 'till morning.
The Sun. Horus was God of the Sky. He was the shape of a falcon, with the sun and moon as his eyes. Khonsu was God of the Moon. The main temple at Karnak is dedicated to him. Amon was God of the Wind. He eventually became Amon-Ra, King of the Gods. Ra is usually depicted as a human with a ram's or hawk's head.

Norwegian. The archeologists were supposed to be Swedish but were in fact speaking Norwegian. "Herregud, hva er det?" (Oh my God, what is it?) "Skulle ønske jeg visste det." (I wish I knew.)
David Arnold. He also scored "Independence Day" and became new composer for the James Bond series. Dennis McCarthy has written music for the series "Stargate: SG-1".
Roland Emmerich. He also directed "Independence Day" and "The Patriot".
It will take you a million light years from home.. "He is afraid. He is alone. He is three million light years from home." was from "E.T.". "Unlock the universe" was from the series "Stargate SG-1". "Mankind just became an endangered species" was from "Starship Troopers".

The Eye of Ra necklace. While the others return home, Jackson stays on the alien planet to be with his new wife Sha'uri and to learn about her culture. When O'Niel is ready to leave, Jackson places the Eye of Ra necklace in his hands, with the words, "Tell Catherine this brought me luck". Before he leaves Earth, Catherine gives the necklace to Jackson, explaining that it has been her good-luck charm ever since she discovered it with the Stargate in Egypt, in 1928. Thanks for playing, I hope you've unlocked the gate to a greater appreciation of this film.

Kawalsky and Feretti. Kawalsky and Brown accompany Col. O'Niel and Dr. Jackson to the worker's city. Feretti, Freeman and two more of the team return to the pyramid to find shelter from a sandstorm, where they are ambushed by Ra's guards. Only Freeman and Feretti survive, and are captured. When O'Niel and his group return to the pyramid, they too are attacked by Ra's guards, and Brown is killed. After the others are captured, Ra instructs Jackson to publicly execute O'Niel, Kawalsky, Feretti and Freeman. A daring rescue is staged, and all escape except Freeman, who is killed by Ra's guards while fleeing. Kawalsy and Feretti return home with O'Niel.
Three connected moons. Dr. Jackson finds the six symbols that lock the Stargate to Earth, in the secret area that Sha'uri leads him to. However, without the seventh, the point of origin, the Stargate would not know where to travel from. Jackson recognises the seventh symbol in a picture that Skaara draws, which Skaara describes as "the day of our victory".

Hand. Ra's guards all wear fancy metallic bracers, which have a blue jewel inlayed on the back of the hand. When the stone is pressed, a series of rings decend from the ceiling, inside which one can travel between Ra's ship and the alien planet. It is this teleportation system that Col. O'Niel uses to decapitate one of Ra's guards and also to send a nuclear weapon to Ra's ship seconds before it explodes.

Yak. Although he likens his odour to a Yak, the Mastadge is actually the species of beast that drags Jackson by the harness through the desert to the worker's mine. They apparently have a keen sense of smell, as Skaara uses Jackson's jacket to give one of the Mastadge his scent, and the beast leads Skaara and Col. O'Niel to the hidden writings, where Jackson is being taught the story of Ra by Sha'uri.

The Eye of Ra. The necklace that Jackson wears is a gift from Catherine, given before he leaves Earth through the Stargate. When the alien workers see it, they assume that Jackson is a representative of Ra, and he and his friends are treated as if they were Gods. Once the alien Ra sees the necklace around Jackson's neck, he confiscates it and wears it himself, explaining that "there can be only one Ra". Jackson later tears it from Ra's neck as he and Sha'uri escape Ra's ship through the teleporter.

Chocolate bar. Although the workers reside on an alien planet, it is made apparent that they are human, being the descendants of ancient Egyptian slaves who were brought to the planet by Ra, using the Stargate from Earth. When Jackson offers the chocolate bar to Kasuf, imitating that he should taste it, Kasuf responds with a surprised and elated expression, clearly enjoying the strange food. In his alien tongue Kasuf exclaims, "Banni Wei!", which we can assume has a meaning akin to "delicious".
