What coloured lily does Suzy end up using to find the secret entrance?Suspiria

Blue. That night, Suzy returns to the academy to find that everyone is gone. She inquires about this to the chef only to discover that Ms. Tanner purchased tickets for the opening night of a local ballet performance. Suzy attempts to call Sarah's friend, but the phone is cut off during a storm. Suzy returns to her room and gets rid of her dinner, dumping the food into the toilet, and her red wine into the sink, where she realizes that it's quite thick. She turns out the light and prepares to leave, but she opens the window on her way out, accidentally letting a bat into the room, and oddly, it proceeds to attack her. She manages it to take it to the ground and place a towel onto it before smashing it with a stool. She returns to the bedroom and finds the notes left for her by Sarah, and using these, she decides to follow the steps, once the footsteps have already passed. When When she reaches the end however, she ends up in the vice-directress' room, seemingly a dead end. Realizing that there must be a way out, since the footsteps end as they hit the carpet, she looks to the walls to find lilies, painted on the side of the room. As she recalls the importance of these, she remembers Pat leaving the academy, and that she spoke about using the blue lily to unlock the secret passage through the storm. Turning the blue lily, Suzy opens a secret doorway, which she decides to go into, and down the hall here, she finds Madame Blanc, Ms. Tanner, Albert, and many more discussing the 'vanishing' that they plan to make Suzy do. Madame Blanc drinks from a ceremonial chalice and calls upon the strength of Elaina to help her cause sickness in Suzy, and she backs down an additional corridor to hide. Down this path, however, she finds Sarah's body, her eyes stuck with pins and her hands staked to the table below. Shocked by this, she is heard by Pablos, who comes to investigate, so she thinks fast and quickly hides in a separate room. Thinking that she has reached safety, Suzy relaxes, but soon hears the horrible snoring that she and Sarah listened to during their night in the dance hall, that of the directress. Suzy quickly tries to retreat, but upon opening the door she sees Pablos coming up the path. When she closes the door and backs up though, she accidentally knocks a table, waking up the directress, who sits up and says that she's been expecting this American girl. She reveals that she is Elaina Marcus, the witch who opened the academy many years ago and Suzy picks up a sharp object from the table she knocked over before proceeding to the bed. When Suzy draws the curtain, the directress has disappeared, and Elaina exclaims that because she tried to kill her, death now comes for her in the form of the living dead. When Suzy turns around, the door she entered opens, and Sarah bursts through it with a dagger. Looking away in fear, Suzy notices a sheen around the outline of the directress, and she stabs through it with her sharp object, hitting Elaina Marcus' neck and killing her, also causing Sarah to disappear. Unfortunately for Suzy, this causes a chain reaction, and the academy begins to destroy itself. Suzy runs out to the hallway to find Elaina's followers choking to death, and she continues onwards through the destructive academy until she finally exits through the front door, moments before the building explodes in flame. Suzy walks off through the rain, smiling and laughing.

    With what is Sarah killed?Suspiria

A knife. Sarah sneaks out Suzy's main doorway just as someone enters her room and crosses into Suzy's. While she runs down the hallway, she realizes that many of the doors, her possible escape routes, are locked off entirely, and as she tries to go downstairs, she notes shadows along the walls. As a last resort, she climbs up into the attic and slowly makes her way along the wall. As she does this though, a figure emerges from the shadows and hits her across the face, knocking her into two panes of glass. Sarah quickly recovers from this and gets into a room and locks the door. Looking for an escape, she finds a small window on the wall, but to reach this, she needs to build a small pile of boxes. All the while, the figure attempts to unlock the door with a knife. Sarah does make it, however, but on the other side of the window is a surprise she didn't anticipate. As she climbs down and views a door on the other side of the room, she accidentally jumps into a room full of razor wire, catching and trapping her while the figure has enough time to walk around and slit her throat. The next morning, Suzy wakes up to find Sarah's room trashed and torn apart, closets emptied, and all else left behind. When she asks Ms. Tanner what happened, the teacher says that she packed her bags and left in the night. The boy across the hall confirms this as well, though Suzy can't quite believe it. She decides to call Sarah's confidante, who has the information about the happenings, and they meet at a convention center. The man tells Suzy that he hasn't heard anything, and that her father, the Italian Consul in Geneva, is unavailable for the weekend. However, he does tell Suzy of what Sarah discovered. The academy was founded by a Greek immigrant by the name of Elaina Marcus, who was thought to be a witch. In 1905, she was killed in a fire, and that's where it ended. The man introduces her to a colleague, who speaks on the subject of witches, saying that they are able to do great harm to other people, and not much else. They can cause harm, illness, and death to those who offend them, and in order to have personal wealth or gain.

Who was the last person that Pat speaks to in the academy?Suspiria

Sarah. Daniel leaves a bar late at night, depressed with his recent job loss. Walking home, he takes his dog through the city, stopping when he reaches an empty courtyard. Upon reaching the center of the courtyard, his dog begins to bark, and he stops walking. Realizing that an unknown being is around him, Daniel remains where he is standing, and at that moment, his dog lunges forth, jumping and biting his neck, killing him on the ground, and then eating the flesh. Two police officers witness the scene and run after the dog. The following morning, Suzy speaks with Madame Blanc to let her know that on the night that Pat was killed, she did see her leave the building, and as she did, she mentioned two words off-hand that seemed strange: 'secrets' and 'irises', though she can't understand the meaning. Madame Blanc calls the police with this info. Later that day, Sarah and Suzy go swimming in the academy pool, and Sarah reveals that Pat talked to her at the door in hysterics on the night she left, and that she was actually the one on the intercom who didn't let her in on the first night. Sarah says that both she and Pat kept notes, and that she's only told one other person, named Frank. That night, Sarah finds that someone has stolen the notes, but while she tries to tell Suzy, she falls asleep once more. Sarah makes a brief mention of witches before Suzy passes out. Sarah soon turns out the lights, as she hears someone coming down the hallway.

Where do the tenants of the boarding school find that the maggots have been nesting?Suspiria

In the attic. The lunch bell rings and Sarah leaves to get changed, so Suzy begins to comb her hair before eating dinner. While they do this though, they both notice odd sensations, and as Suzy combs through her hair, she realizes that she's combing out maggots. Soon, as she looks up, she finds the entire ceiling crawling with them. Panic soon breaks out on the floor as the students wake up to the bug larvae crawling everywhere. When a group goes upstairs into the attic to investigate, they find that the maggots have spawned in a crate of spoiled food, which has spilled onto the floor below. Madame Blanc apologizes for the ordeal, saying it was truly mortifying, and while the maggots only reached the dormitories, the rest of the school has been untouched. Although girls are allowed to find temporary residence in town, they have set up a makeshift dormitory in the dance hall for use for the one night, as fumigation begins in the morning. The girls settle in and Suzy and Sarah spend the night talking as the teachers depart and turn out the lights (leaving an eerie red glow along the sheeted-off walls enclosing the beds). Sarah notes that every night, the teachers and directresses leave the school like clockwork, leaving the students in their dormitories alone. When everyone falls asleep, Sarah wakes up as a solitary figure lies down behind the sheet behind them. Sarah recognizes the snoring and wakes Suzy to tell her that it's the directress snoring behind them, and that the vice-directress lied to them, saying that she was abroad. She knows it's the directress because she once spent the night in the guest dormitory next to hers and heard the same awful sounds. The following morning, Sarah asks Ms. Tanner if the directress spent the night, but she denies that she did.

What is the name of the blind pianist who works at the dance academy?Suspiria

Daniel. As Suzy heads down the hallway to class she passes by the kitchen where one of the chefs and Madame Blanc's nephew, Albert, are cleaning silver and glassware. As she continues down the corridor, the chef shines a metal object towards her, glaring light into Suzy's eyes. As the light is turned away, Suzy feels weak and woozy, but she continues onwards to class nonetheless. In class, Ms. Tanner notes that it's the first time that they'll be working together, and although Suzy does feel weak, she urges her onwards. Ms. Tanner tells Daniel, who traveled across the city with his dog to work, to start playing the piano, which he does at a relatively slow pace, but the activity strains Suzy so much so to the point that she collapses on the dance floor. The rest of the students watch from the sidelines as blood drips out of Suzy's nose and the side of her mouth. Madame Blanc visits Suzy in her room to find her and Ms. Tanner with a doctor. The doctor states that inconsistent exercise over an extended period of time can cause the tearing of internal ligaments, which happened in Suzy's case. Madame Blanc assures Suzy that she's looking much better and says that Olga has brought her bags and left her initial $50 deposit. Before leaving, the doctor recommends bland foods for dinner and a glass of red wine at each meal, to keep the body strong. When she realizes that Sarah is her neighbour, she mentions that she's already feeling much better, as if nothing had happened.

Where does Suzy inevitably need to take a room?Suspiria

At the boarding school. Ms. Tanner introduces Suzy to the other girls of the academy, then telling everyone to meet her in the red room for the day's lessons. Suzy finds her locker and meets some of the girls. Olga, who is letting her be her temporary tenant, tells her to give her $50 in advance for the room, while another girl lets her borrow her ballet shoes, attempting to sell them to her. Suzy meets Sarah, another American girl, next. Sarah tells her she'll get used to the place. That night, Suzy stays at Olga's, and meets a nice boy from the boarding school who Olga says is nice, but has no money, so he runs errands for Ms. Tanner. The next day, Madame Blanc tells Suzy that her room is ready for her, though she claims that she would like to stay with Olga. Madame Blanc argues, however, that the room is open now, and since she noted in her letter that she wanted to stay at the school, she should stick to the arrangements. After Madame Blanc departs, Ms. Tanner compliments Suzy on being strong-willed.

What is the name of Madame Blanc's nephew?Suspiria

Albert. The following day, Suzy arrives at the dance academy moments after the academy's blind pianist. She watches as he ties up his seeing-eye dog. Entering the academy, Suzy speaks with one of the instructors, Ms. Tanner, about not being let into the academy the night before, but Ms. Tanner says not to worry, as she has finally arrived. Ms. Tanner quickly introduces Suzy to Madame Blanc, the academy's vice-directress, and famous ex-ballerina. Madame Blanc welcomes her, telling her that they currently do not have a room for her, but a third-year student will give her residence in town for $50 a week, which is quite modest. As well, she says that she knew her aunt from New York, and is glad to have her at the academy. She tells Suzy that their regular directress is traveling abroad, and that her nephew, Albert, is staying at the academy, and she values him dearly. Albert spends most of his time with the academy chef, as Madame Blank is often busy speaking with officials and dealing with administrative works, though he never seems to speak or complain. Ms. Tanner takes her upstairs, introducing her to Pablos, the Romanian servant, and then taking her to the locker room.

    Which country is Suzy from?Suspiria

United States. Suzy Banyon, a young girl from America, has traveled to Europe's most prestigious dance school, in order to perfect her ballet. Departing from New York, she arrives in Germany late at night, taking a taxi ride in the middle of a large rainstorm, and arriving at the Freebord Academy. When she rushes up to the door, another girl is running out, yelling something she can't quite make out. This girl runs in the direction of the woods in fear while Suzy looks on. Suzy quickly uses the intercom at the door, but the person on the other end tells her to go away; they won't let her in this evening. Suzy takes the taxi back to town for the night.
