Christopher McDonald. Christopher McDonald, also from "Happy Gilmore", plays Thelma's overprotective, controlling husband. Christopher McDonald can also be remembered as Beaver's dad in "Leave It to Beaver", the movie.
In the mirror of a car. Thelma first meets J.D. in the parking lot, after she sees him walking towards her in the mirror. She "saw" him while he was hitchhiking on the highway, but this is the first time she officially meets him.

Harvey Keitel. Harvey Keitel is the actor who plays Hal. This is not the only role in which he was head of a government agency. He also played Sadusky in last year's "National Treasure". He can also be remembered in "Pulp Fiction" as Winston Wolfe, "Little Nicky" as Satan, and in "Be Cool" as Nick Carr.

Louise. After Thelma comes out from robbing the gas station, Louise says this humorous quote to her. When Louise says this to her it makes the viewer realize that now J.D. seems to have given her this new freedom from Daryl and she can truly be herself, or at least do what she wants.
Peaches. Before Louise goes to pick up the money you hear little mention of her nickname being "Peaches", but nevertheless Jimmy uses her nickname as code word for her to pick up the money. When she mentions the word to the clerk he doesn't give her the money; it is instead revealed that Jimmy is actually sitting right behind her reading a newspaper.
