Young Frankenstein
Mel Brooks. Mel Brooks also directed (and starred in) the 'Star Wars' movie spoof 'Spaceballs'.
Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder. Gene Wilder came up with the idea of a Frankenstein spoof first, but Brooks helped with the script.

Igor. 'I ain't got no body. And no body cares for me.' While searching the lab, the Doctor and Inga run across Igor, who breaks into a song.

54. When the Doctor discovered that the 'name' of the person whose brain he'd put in the monster was Abbey Normal, he got just a bit annoyed.
Darts. Who would have known that an errant dart could break through a window and still have enough momentum to penetrate a tire, if it wasn't for this movie?
Helga. This was one of several scenes in the movie where a humorous version of the scene replaced the original, darker, version. Originally, the girl was killed by the monster, vs. being sent via teeter-totter to her upstairs bedroom.
The Monster. When the Doctor made the decision to be locked in a room alone with the monster, the value of stroking the monster's ego became clear.

Tie. This is why you should always lock the lab door while having 'an intellectual discussion' with your assistant.
Igor. From her reaction it seemed fairly clear to me that the two of them had known each other in the past, but that's one part of the story line that the movie didn't delve into. Of course, it was rated PG.

15. As to what the Doctor got back in return, we can only imagine, but the song 'Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life' was involved again.
Bride of Frankenstein. The style was very tall and had a long white streak running through it. It was a duplicate of the hairstyle for the female monster in 'Bride of Frankenstein'.
Falkstein. The will was from the Doctor's great grandfather, Baron Bofort Von Frankenstein.
Inga. It was very smart of Herr Falkstein to realize that the Doctor would need a laboratory assistant.

The Doctor. The Doctor said this in a pained voice following a poorly thought out attempt to block the door to the secret passage with his body.
Frau Blucher. When the others were searching in the lab for the person who was playing music, she barely had time to put out her cigar and get away before they could find her.
How I Did It. After finishing the book, the now half-crazed Doctor proclaimed 'It could work'!
Igor. Igor and the Doctor were digging up a dead body to use for experimentation at the time.
