 30 Seconds to Mars
August 27, 2002. The album was released on August 27, 2002, by Immortal Records.
Michael Leto. The band was founded in 1998 by Jared Leto and his brother, Shannon.
Capricorn (A Brand New Name). The video was directed by Paul Fedor.
Echelon. "The Core" is a sci-fi movie from 2003 with Hillary Swank and Aaron Eckhart.
3. You can hear the phrase "Welcome to the Universe" in 3 songs: "Welcome to the Universe", "93 Million Miles" and in "The Struggle", which is a hidden track.
93 Million Miles. The title of the song was insipred by the fact, that 93 million miles is the average distance from the Earth to the Sun.
Edge of the Earth. The video of "Edge of the Earth" is a tour footage.
Phoenix. They named it "Mithra".

A Beautiful Lie. They are the only band to film an entire music video in China.
Attack. "93 Million Miles" is a song off their first album and is also the distance between Earth and the Sun.
yes. The single "Attack" was at first not supposed to be on the record, but after Jared played it acoustically to the producer as a joke, the producer said it was their strongest song.
6277. It spells out MARS on a telephone keyboard.
Yugoslavia. The video of "The Kill" contains several subliminal messages, including various facts and 30 Seconds to Mars in-jokes. Most notably, stills of two of the illusions, the elderly man and the naked woman, as corpses are shown at 2:58, 3:12, 3:51, and 3:58. Also there are images at 2:17 and 2:20 also at 3:18 - 3:20.
Bosnia. Tomo and his family immigrated to the US when he was in the third grade.
The Shining. The original film starred Jack Nicholson as a man who slowly goes insane while secluded with his wife and son in a hotel while it is closed for the winter. If you haven't seen this film, I highly recommend it.

From Yesterday. The bands name actually comes from a thesis that they found on the internet, a section of that was entitled "Thirty Seconds To Mars". It discusses the exponential growth of technology which relates to humans and saying that we are quite literally thirty seconds to Mars. It describes their music best.
A Beautiful Lie. The song "Hunter" is a cover of a Bjork song.
Hunter. The album was originally leaked five months before its release, so they decided to include two bonus tracks 'Battle of One' and 'Hunter'.
Lies. The album got to number 21 in the UK album charts.
