Bring the Noise. "Bring the Noise" was originally recorded by Public Enemy on one of their earlier albums. It has a lyric in it pertaining to Anthrax, ("Wax is for Anthrax, still it can rock bells ever forever"). Anthrax liked that so they contacted Public Enemy and got together with them and remade the song with a little more hardness to it. It was released on the album "Attack of the Killer B's". They also made a video for this song.

S.O.D. Not Milk, but that is one of the songs that "S.O.D" did. Charlie, Scott, Dan, and Billy started "Stormtroopers of Death", and released the album, "Speak English or Die". This is a very hardcore album! If memory serves correct, S.O.D. was actually formed as a joke. While Anthrax was on a sort of hiatus status, Charlie and some other fellow musician friends went into the studio and layed some tracks down.

I'm the Man. "I'm the Man" was the first rap Anthrax did. It was released on an E.P. they put out early on in their career and it did very well. The guys remade this song in 1991 and renamed it "I'm the Man '91". The remix was recorded on "Attack of the Killer B's" and it has more of a preprogrammed sound than the original did.

Drug overdose. "Black Lodge", off the album "Sound of White Noise", deals with drug abuse/overdose. The lyrics in this song are very deep and moving. It is one of my favorite songs by the band. Even the music has a eerie sound to it that is very addictive.

Dan Spitz. I do not know the exact reason why Dan left the band, but I believe I read something about him wanting to spend more time with his family. Dan left Anthrax sometime in the mid-1990's. To me, Dan was the quiet family type, which supports what I read.
