The Curse of Feanor. The song is from 'Nightfall in Middle-Earth' and ends with the following words: 'Like a shadow they'll cover my life, but I'll also remember mine, after all I'm still alive!'.
"Age of False Innocence". Like many of the songs on this album, "Age of False Innocence" portrays powerful thoughts and meaningful subject matter. It strikingly displays the early conflict between science and religion.
"The Soulforged". "And I see death through golden eyes" - Raistlin was cursed with golden eyes shaped like tiny hourglasses, through which he saw people slowly dying.
"Wait for an Answer". Another powerful and meaningful song, "Wait for an Answer" portrays the dangers of racism and the tragedy of the Third Reich.
"Through the deepest void / A blackened paradise / I walk alone / I'm left alone". One of the heavier songs on the album, "Punishment Divine" illustrates Blind Guardian's ambitiously grand themes.
"It cannot be seen / But there's blood on the green". Another epic of high themes, "Battlefield" portrays the bloodshed and tragedy of war.
The Trojan War. This 14-minute long epic masterpiece depicts the Trojan War. It took four months to record, using over 128 tracks, including 30 for the guitars and 50 for the vocals.
"Harvest of Sorrow". This is the bonus track on "A Night at the Opera", and is actually sung in Spanish. The English version appeared on the "And Then There Was Silence" single.

And Then There Was Silence. This chart-topping song with a 14-minute run length is about the Trojan War and is based on "The Iliad" by Homer.

The Soulforged. This is one of the best songs that they have done, in my opinion. The song contains excellent lead and rhythm guitar work. This song is about Raistlin Majere, a character in the series of "Dragonlance" novels by Margaret Weis.
Ashes To Ashes. This is one of the darker songs that Blind Guardian has done. It is about our own mortality and that we will all cross the Line someday. It is also about Hansi's (the lead singer) father's death.

Another Holy War. This one of the heaviest songs done by Blind Guardian, somewhat paralleled by "The Edge", in meaning and sound. This song is about the life of Jesus and the Holy War of Faith.
