God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen. Different versions of the melody known as "Chestnut" have been used as wassail songs (particularly "We've Been Awhile a Wandering") and at least one setting of the poem "While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks by Night", by Nahum Tate (see q.15).
