Top Of The World. Another of my favourite tunes. Headline song of the Chicks most recent 2003 tour. For those who haven't heard it, it really grabs you when the orchestra kicks in... great stuff!
I'll Take Care Of You. Another great track off "Wide Open Spaces". This album claimed many awards including the best selling debut album of any Country group.

California. "Travellin Soldier" was written by Emily's brother-in-law Bruce Robison about a soldier who meets a girl he falls in love with before he has to go to war and sadly he never returns home. A movie based on this song is currently in the works.

state line. "Heartbreak Town" is a great song off the "Fly" album. In my opinion a song that never got the praise it deserved. About a family who take a major risk and move towns to find that it is not at all what they expected or like.
Gareth. When Martie and Gareth got hitched, their situation was the inspiration behind "White Trash Wedding".
Goodbye Earl. "Goodbye Earl" certainly is the right way to kick off an awesome concert. One of their most famous songs about a woman who murders her abusive husband. Many think it is more famous for it's controversy but it really is a fantastic song.
Natalie's father. Lloyd Maines co-produced all the Chicks album's and contributes his musical and instrumental talents to countless Chicks songs with many different instruments. No wonder Natalie herself is so talented!
Patty Griffin. Patty's song-writing talents have earned her many praises from the Chicks especially Natalie who states her as one of her biggest influences.
Cowboy Take Me Away. Emily is married to Charlie Robison. They have a son named Gus.
Some Days You Gotta Dance. Keith Urban is a star in his own right with 2 albums of his own, but he still found the time to contribute his guitar talents to a Chicks song.
Drums. Apart from a quiet drum beat at the end of "Travellin Soldier" the drums are pretty much completely gone leaving a bluegrass, rootsy feel to the album, which is exactly what the Chicks set out to accomplish.
