Beast from the East. 'Back for the Attack', released in 1987, was the last studio album released by the band before they broke up, but the live album 'Beast from the East' was released in 1988.
John Norum. Norum replaced Lynch during the 'Shadowlife' tour in 1998, but did not want to become a permanent member of the band. Reb Beach replaced Norum before the 'Erase the Slate' album was recorded. However, in July 2001, Norum replaced Beach as Dokken's guitarist.
Juan Croucier. Croucier appeared on the album but left shortly thereafter to join Ratt. Pilson replaced him and appeared in the video for 'Breaking the Chains'. Sheehan played bass with David Lee Roth and Mr. Big and Murray played bass with Whitesnake.

Burning Like a Flame. "Burning Like a Flame" was a song off of Dokken's 1987 album "Back for the Attack". It was one of the few songs off of that particular album which become a hit. Every compilation album after this song was released has featured it.

Walk Away. "Walk Away" was a popular song off of Dokken's 1988 album, "Beast From the East". The album was essentially a live release, originally recorded from a concert, in Japan. Several of the band's greatest hits were recorded during that concert, and a new studio song, "Walk Away" was added for the album.

Paris Is Burning. "Paris Is Burning" was a song from Dokken's 1983 album, "Breaking the Chains". "Paris Is Burning" actually had two versions. The one from the 1983 album was originally called "Paris" before the song was changed after some clever studio additions were made. There weren't many differences between the two versions except for some superior editing in the "Paris is Burning" version.

Breaking the Chains. "Breaking the Chains" was Dokken's 1983 hit song from their album, "Breaking the Chains". The album acted as a catalyst to the band's eventual success. "Breaking the Chains" even had a music video, albeit an odd one. In it, the band were walking down a rather windy and unpleasant hallway while singing of breaking their own personal chains.
