Already Gone. "Already Gone" was the first single to be released off of the "On The Border" album in 1974. The album went gold and reached the Top Ten that year while the song also reached the Top 20 during the same time. NOTE: There seems to be some conflicting info on the chart position of this song. The source I got most of all the info from for this quiz which is MSN Entertainment-Music The Eagles,

states this song as reaching the Top 20, whereas another trivia player has shared with me that from their Billboard chart toppers book, it records the song as only charting to #32. I've done quite a bit of research to try and find out why there's such conflicting info between the two sources but have had no luck and was unable to find any such info. And, therefore, it's for this reason I find it essential to share both takes of this song's chart position(s) with you all. :-)
Desperado. "Desperado" was the title track to the Eagles' second album that was released in 1973. Even though the song was never released as a single, it became one of the band's better-known songs and was included on its first hits collection.

the devil himself. This lyric is from the song "One Of These Nights". Also, this song is from and is the title name of the Eagles' fourth album which has been classified as an out-of-the-box smash. The title track along with "Lyin' Eyes" and "Take It To The Limit" hit the Top Five in 1975. The Eagles also earned a Grammy nomination for "Album of the Year" in 1975. That same year in December, it was announced that Bernie Leadon (the band's singer/guitarist/banjoist/mandolinist) had quit the band and that Joe Walsh was brought in as his replacement.

Does the song "Take It To The Limit" contain the following lyrics: "He said, 'Call the doctor, I think I'm gonna crash..' 'The doctor say he's comin' but you gotta pay him cash.'"? | An "Eagles" Songs Quiz

no. These lyrics are from the song "Life In The Fast Lane" which is off of the album "Hotel California". I think it's a great upbeat song that should've hit number one on the charts, but it didn't. It did, however, make the Top 20. A little interesting info: In January of 1998, The Eagles appeared together for their introduction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, with their five present members performing alongside their past members, Leadon and Meisner. Well, that's it! Thanks for playing, I hope you enjoyed it!
