Gary Powell. Andy Burrows is the Razorlight drummer, John Hassall is the Libertines' bass player and Nick Hodgson is the Kaiser Chiefs' drummer.

We'll never know!'This was the last Libertines single to be released, bitterly poignant for those who knew the almost brotherly devotion that Carl and Pete had shared and the unique musical and lyrical partnership they had created.
Dorian Gray. This light hearted take on self-observers,comes from the Libertines self titled second/final album. Those who are professionally trendy in the glow of Clapham sun are living in a looking glass as the beauty of life goes by and they wouldn't mind being Dorian Gray just for a day. Each to their own and all that!
Cornered. The first single from the Libertines second/final album, Carl and Pete's fractured friendship for the world to hear. Tinged with sadness, anger and regret this is one that many of us who were fans from the beginning usually site as our least favourite track.

August 2004. A miracle perhaps, that this album was even completed, yet the band held it together just long enough. Rough around the edges perhaps, not as amazing as its predecessor, yet if The Libertines could create a record this good even in the state of turmoil they were experiencing at the time, the assumption has to be made that it was only a matter of time before 'Up the Bracket' was equaled or bettered.
