Little Green. "Amelia" was written about Amelia Earhart, the aviatrix. "The Circle Game" was written for Neil Young. Chelsea Clinton was named after the song that her parents played lots at college!

Woodstock. Joni's tribute to the festival!
Song for Sharon. Sharon is/was a real person and one of Joni's friends. This song is from the album "Hejira".
Charles Mingus. The album was simply titled "Mingus." Sadly Charles Mingus died shortly after its completion.
Come in from the Cold. This appeared on the 1991 album "Night Ride Home".

The Arrangement. A song from the album "Ladies of the Canyon" which I listened to a lot at while studying! It calms frayed nerves!
Song to a Seagull. The real title of the first album was just "Joni Mitchell" but it is also know as "Song to a Seagull." "Blue" was released in 1971, "Clouds" in 1967, and "Court and Spark" in 1974
Canada. She was born November 17, 1943 in Saskatchewan, Canada.
"Both Sides Now". Joni has "Both Sides Now" on several albums but Judy Collins was the one who made it a hit.
"Free Man in Paris". "Free Man in Paris" was on the "Court and Spark" album.
Chuck Mitchell. After they divorced, Joni kept the name Mitchell.
Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Several singers included "Woodstock" on their albums, including Joni, but Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young made the song, reflecting the Folk Festival at Yasgar's Farm a hit and a memory for all in that era.
Actually, Neil Young performed with Crosby, Stills and Nash and was later inducted as part of the group.

Bill and Hillary Clinton. When Bill and Hillary were at Harvard, Hillary and Bill heard a song, metaforing New England weather, right before winter, they knew then they would name their daughter Chelsea after(Chelsea Morning).
Ladies of the Canyon. I just included this bit of info, though not many people have heard this song, but is was my favorite.
For the Roses. Many people were surprised that this was Joni Mitchell. The style of music was different then her past selections but as time will tell, she was able to change from rock to folk to jazz and even borderline country!
Vince Mendoza. This was her last album which held new and old memories.
