Then she found Linda's number and left a 15 minute message telling Linda she had to work on her new album with her. They wrote a lot of songs in a month and a half. Pink believed it was all fate.

Catch-22. "Catch-22" is one of only two songs on this album with any real swearing, the other being "18 Wheeler". Writen by Pink and Linda Perry, it features Pink playing the part of a flight attendant.
Eve. No, she never made a song with Eve. She did, however, make songs with Steven Tyler(of Aerosmith fame), Missy Elliott and Christina Aguilera (both of whom she featured with in the song "Lady Marmalade", from the soundtrack to the movie "Moulin Rouge.")
Can't Take Me Home. This album had it the smash hits "Most Girls" and her first hit, "There You Go."
Alecia Moore. Apparently named after an incident at school as a child... her pants were pulled down and her face turned "Pink!" The schoolyard name stuck like glue! Incidentally, the word "Alecia" is written backwards on the sofa which features on the cover of "Missundaztood."

4 Non-Blondes. One of Pink's musical idols as she grew up was Linda Perry of 4 Non-Blondes fame. Perry's vocals feature on the track 'Lonely Girl' and her musical influence can be felt on many other tracks off of the second album. It is said that Pink left a 15 minute message on Perry's answerphone, including a story about being arrested for belting out Perry's songs at 3 a.m. Pink says, "I told her if she didn't return my call, I'd be her stalker. She called and said, "You're crazy, you'd better come over." The two then sat on the floor of Perry's Los Angeles home and wrote "Eventually" in minutes.
Vietnam. Pink's father Jim was a Vietnam Vet, and the song 'My Vietnam' on her second album is her a reflection of her feelings towards this.
M!ssundaztood. This album was released on 26th November 2002, and was a much anticipated follow up to her debut release. A much more personal album, this featured a very deep insight into Pink's upbringing, helped by the fact that the majority of the tracks were written by her. Two versions were released, one having a bonus track hidden on it.
September 8, 1979. Pink was born Alecia Moore on September 8th, 1979, to parents Jim and Judith. From a very young age she suffered from asthma, and soon left the suburbs to start a new life in Philadelphia, after the divorce of her parents.
Who knew . My personal favourite track off the album, in this song, Pink sings of someone that she must have lost, due to death or drugs. While it is a little more upbeat than the others, it is a very sad song, talking of love lost. It was the second track to be released, and is also the second track on the album.

Nobody Knows. One of the ballads off the album, this was the fourth song to be released for airplay, and is also the fourth track on the album.
