The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Relient K always throws some pop-culture reference into their songs. This one was fun to find. I didn't even realize it until my dad said that it was from "The Mary Tyler Moore Show".
buffalo. Dermike is a buffalo statue that the Relient K guys found. Sometimes he is known for showing up onstage during concerts, and even riding the waves of the audiences.
Canton, Ohio. The RK guys grew up in Canton, Ohio. In the song "Hoopes I Did It Again," they sing about growing up in a small town. Fun fact: Matt Thiessen grew up in Canton, but he was born in Canada.

all of the above (Christian, Punk, Rock). Relient K is from the new group of Christian Punk-Rockers. If you compare modern secular punk-rockers' music to Relient K's there is hardly a difference. The only difference is that Relient K's music is 100 percent clean and is worshipful!
The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. Personally, this is my favorite version of this song. No one can sing the line "And I've never painted daisies on a big, red, rubber ball" like T-Sun.
