The critic praised the group for their lack of whining about love in their lyrics. Most of the songs are very unapologetic and this song is a prime example of that.
Britney Spears and N*SYNC. Britney is hinted at in the first line- "Hey baby, you've hit me again one more time." N*SYNC is hinted at a couple times- "You said bye, bye, buh-bye, bye, good-bye-" "Hey Digital"-- you're nothing but a [expletive deleted] on strings."

This was so because I watched all day- The neverending story with atrayu" This song also talks a lot about the singer waking up covered in "spit and sweat", which I've got to say, is a little gross! :)

Rooney met while they were in high school. The original name of their group was Ed Rooney, after the principal in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," but they later shortened the name to just Rooney.
