Imagine. Neil performed a solo version of John Lennon's 'Imagine' accompanying himself on the piano. It was strange to hear someone singing 'image there's no country' when flags were sprouting up everywhere and patriotic fervor was at a fever pitch.
Reactor. The quote, an Alcoholics Anonymous Serenity prayer, is "Deus, dona mihi serenitatem accepere res quae non possum mutare, fortitudinem mutare res quae possum, atque sapientiam differentiam cognoscere."
This is translated into English as:
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the strength to change what I can and the wisdom to know the difference."

Jimi Hendrix. Neil actually met and jammed with Hendrix in the late Sixties, but
only became interested and influenced by his guitar playing around the "Rust" period in the Mid Seventies.
Sleeps with Angels. The words are contained in the title track which was inspired by the suicide of Kurt Cobain. Cobain's suicide note allegedly contained a
line from Neil's "Rust Never Sleeps" song - "It's better to burn out than to fade away.

Fender. Neil's favourite amp. is a 1959 Fender Deluxe.
Toronto, Canada. He recorded this album in Toronto in 1971. Neil Young was also born in Toronto.
Off The Ground. "Off the Ground" is a Paul McCartney album. I personally find that "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere", and "After the Goldrush" are Neil's best albums.
Comes A Time. You can hear that song on the album "Live Rust".
After the Gold Rush. This song was on the album "After the Goldrush". I really don't understand this song but it has really beautiful and has nice French horn.
James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt. James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt were good friends of Neil Young.

The Jades. Neil Young enrolled at Earl Grey Junior High School. It was there that he met Ken Koblun, who he later formed 'The Squires' with. It was at this school that he formed his first band 'The Jades'.
