Albert a.k.a 'Bertie'. In modern terms, we'd refer to him as a 'rebellious punk.' He smoked, drank, and participated in debauchery. He was a problem for his parents, especially due to the fact that he was next-in-line for the throne of England.

Tsar Nicholas II. She married into the ill-fated Romanov family of Russia where she bore Nicholas five children, one of which was a hemophiliac (Victoria's son, Leopold was also a hemophiliac so it ran in the family).
1901. She died in 1901, just one year after the birth of Elizabeth II's mother.
1819. Before the birth of Victoria, the only heir to the throne (in the next generation) was Princess Charlotte, who died in childbirth in 1817. Coincidentally, Charlotte was married to Victoria's uncle, the King of the Belgians.
