Ernst Happel. Ernst Happel (1925-1992) was a highly successful defender for SK Rapid and Austria's most successful coach. He won the European Champion Club's Cup (later known as the UEFA Champions League) with Feyenoord Rotterdam in 1970, Hamburger SV in 1983, and gave his name to the former Praterstadion (50.865 seats) in Vienna after his death in 1992.
Herbert Prohaska. Herbert 'Schneckerl' Prohaska was a midfielder for FK Austria, Inter Milano and AS Roma between 1972 and 1989. He was one of Austria's most talented players ever. As a coach, he won two national championships and led the national team during the World Cup in 1998.
