Comiskey Park
Seattle Mariners. Chicago won the game 2-1 against the Mariners on September 30, 1990.
Jim Gentile. Gentile hit his fifth grand slam of the season at Comiskey on September 22, 1961, in Baltimore's 8-6 win over Chicago.
"Disco Demolition Night" was the infamous promotion in 1979, where disco records were destroyed on the field between games of a double-header at Comiskey Park. Detroit Tigers. Detroit won the first game of the double-header, which was played on July 12, 1979, by a score of 4-1.

The White Sox played three series at Comiskey; 1917 when the White Sox defeated the New York Giants 4-2, 1919 in the infamous Black Sox scandal series when the Cincinnati Reds won 5-3; 1959 when the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the White Sox 4-2. The Chicago Cubs played their 1918 World Series against the Red Sox at Comiskey, with Boston winning in six games.
Green. The cornerstone was laid on St. Patrick's Day 1910 and, in honor of the large Irish community, was painted green. It would remain that way for 40 years before it was painted white.
St. Louis Browns. The Browns won the opener 2-0, with Barney Pelty out pitching Ed Walsh.
