Dale Earnhardt
Ralph. He was a race car driver also.
1987. He won 11 races in 1987.
Charlotte. 1975 His first NASCAR Winston Cup Series start was at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 25th, 1975.

Pink. His first race was at the Old Concord Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The owner of this car was David Oliver.

Ralph. Dale is his middle name.
1951. Dale died just months before his 50th birthday. Leaving us race fans with great memories and stories to tell our children and grandchildren!
Bristol. Terry and Dale got together 2 years in a row during the night race at Bristol. Terry won one, and drove his horribly wrecked car into victory lane, the next year the same thing happened but Dale came home the winner.
Wonder Boy. I love the toast Jeff made to Big E at the WC Banquet when he toasted him, and drank a glass of milk.
The Winston. Dale Jr. has said that this accomplishment means a lot to him! The Winston is a All Star event and very prestigious.
Racehorse. Many people have called him many things over the years, my personal favorite is The Man! He was also called The Man In Black.
1 . Dales first and only 500 win was in 1998. He is however the winningest driver at that track.
3. DEI owned the 8, 15 and 1 cars, driven by Jr., Michael Waltrip and Steve Park.

34. He died at the track he loved the most. Dale Earnhardt will forever be in the hearts of the people that watched him on Sunday and the ones that knew him every day. RIP Dale.

Talladega. Dale won the Winston 500 in amazing fashion. He came from 22nd postions with 11 laps to go to win the race. That is my best memory of Dale.
1990. On July 7, 1990 Dale won the Pepsi 400. Eleven years later on July 7, 2001 Dale Earnhardt Jr won for the first time at Daytona, in the same race.
