Jeff Bzdelik. The Nuggets started out the season 14-15 with Bzdelik as the coach, and that was when he got fired and was replaced by interim coach, Michael Cooper, who didn't do any better going 3-10 as Nuggets head coach. So that was when George Karl came, and completely turned the Nuggets around going 32-8 as the Nuggets coach.
Carmelo Anthony. Carmelo came second to LeBron James in the rookie of the year voting in the 2003-04 season. This year was the second straight year that he lead the Nuggets in scoring with 20.8 ppg.
49-33 and 7th. The Nuggets ended up with the seventh seed and a first round playoff matchup with the San Antonio Spurs.

Voshon Lenard, Carmelo Anthony, and Earl Boykins. Voshon Lenard came third in the three point shootout, despite being injured since the first game of the season. Earl Boykins participated in the skills competition for the second straight year, and came second. Carmelo Anthony participated in the rookie challenge and was the MVP with 31 points. He was the fourth person in history to get 30 or more points in the rookie challenge.
