Ipswich Town. Leicester finished bottom of the Premiership with 28 points, followed by Derby on 30, and Ipswich on 36.

1971-72. Derby won the title by a single point with 58 points, ahead of Leeds United, Liverpool and Manchester City, who all had 57. They won the title again three years later in the 1974-75 season.
Harry Newbould. Newbould was the manager between 1896-1906, after which Methven took over until 1922, followed by Potter (1922-25), and Jobey held the reigns until 1941.
Racecourse Ground. From their formation until 1895, Derby played at the Racecourse Ground, and then moved into the Baseball Ground, where they stayed for 103 years, until moving into Pride Park in 1997.
1884. Derby County were one of the twelve founder members of the Football League, and originally played in a kit of chocolate, amber and pale blue!

Ashley Ward. Stefano Eranio went on to score the first Premier League goal at Pride Park. However, Ashley Ward still claims the honour of scoring the final Rams first- team goal at the Baseball Ground.
Branko Strupar. The goal came in the 2nd minute against Watford on 3rd January 2000.
Inigo Idiakez. Free-kick expert Inigo Idiakez finished the season on 11 goals in all competitions, two ahead of Tommy Smith. Steve Howard & Arturo Lupoli didn't join The Rams until the following season.
Ian Taylor. Ian Taylor finished the season on 12 goals in all competitions, double the tally of Marcus Tudgay with 6.
Crystal Palace. Marco Gabbiadini went on to play 188 games for The Rams, scoring 50 goals.
Nuneaton Borough. Malcolm Christie went on to play 116 games for The Rams, scoring 30 goals.
