The sole way to score in Ultimate Frisbee is similar to a football touchdown: you must catch a pass in the endzone. How many points is this worth? | Ultimate Frisbee

1. You can't, however, run into the endzone with the disc. See Question 2.
Hammer. Hammer is the accepted term because once the disc leaves your hand, it flies off at a forty-five degree angle, eventually leveling off upside down, and falling into your teammate's hands (or the ground).
175 grams. Ultimate discs are "heavy" but they need to be for a fast paced, fast action game. 160 g. is for freestyle discs, while disc golf "putters" and "drivers" weigh between 165 g. and 174 g.
stack. The stack is where the other six players on the field arrange themselves into a single file line in front of the handler. Cuts are then made towards the disc.
t. An ultimate field, including end-zones, is 120 yards long (the field is 70 yards, with each end zone being 25 yards), and only 40 yards wide. Football fields, including end-zones, are 120 yards long (field is 100 yards, each end zone is 10 yards) and about 53 yards wide.
The pull. The pull occurs at the beginning of every game and after every score just as a kickoff does in football. A deep throw, called a huck is to ultimate what the Hail Mary is to football.
Ultimate Players Association. Inaugurated in 1980, the UPA initially had 9 members, and at the end of the 20th century, they had grown to 15,000 with sponsored events all over the globe.
