Allegedly jumped a restart. There was some confusion by drivers, whether Stewart jumped the final restart. Nascar later determined nothing was illegal about the restart.
Bristol, Day. Busch held off a determined Jimmy Spencer, to win the day race at Bristol.
Bill Elliott . Elliott passed Rusty Wallace, and eventually cruised to his second win in as many weeks.
