NCAA Basketball by Season
SirValiant Brown. The A-10 rookie of the year Sirvaliant Brown averaged 24.6 ppg for the George Washington Colonials.

Duke. Duke bounced back from its first two losses to go 29-3 the rest of the way. Stanford won the Coaches vs.Cancer Classic defeating both Duke and Iowa.

Brandon Dean. Dean led the Arkansas Razorbacks to an upset title and a suprise NCAA bid.

Troy Murphy. Fighting Irish star Murphy finished in the top 10 nationally in both points and boards.
Loren Woods. Woods also averaged 3.9 bpg over the 1999-00 season.
Stanford. Stanford shut down teams with great post and perimeter defense, opposing teams shot a pathetic 35.2 percent from the field.
Metropolitan State. Met State defeated Kentucky Wesleyan in the D-2 championship game. The Roadrunners return Kane Oakley as their only former starter for the 2000-2001 season
Arizona. Luke Walton joined the Wildcats for the 2000-01 season.

Big Jelly. Dixon was taunted by the Cameron Crazies as they chanted 'please don't eat me'. The gigantic center resembles the motion of jelly as he runs, hence the name.
Joe Crispin. Joe Crispin actually shot 89.2 percent. While leading all Big 10 point guards with 18.5 ppg.
Northwestern. At least they're good at football. For now anyway.
Troy Bell. Troy bell, Boston College's freshman standout, averaged 20.1 ppg in conference play, and 18.8 overall.
Arizona . As much as we'd like to believe that these answers are correct we all know that the UC Irvine Anteaters are the real champions.
Ronnie McCullum. McCullum led the nation in scoring average, but did not amass the most total points.
Jason Williams . Jason Williams amassed the most total points, over 800 of them, while falling short of the best average to Ronnie McCollum.
Nate Walton. Nate Walton led the Tigers in scoring, with barely better than 10 points per game. The Tigers lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to North Carolina.
Chuck Moore. Lapointe wasn't a terrific scorer, but neither was Vanderbilt!
Florida Gators . Florida also made the most three pointers in the SEC.
Isaac Spencer. Spencer barely beat Omar Cook for total turnovers.
Boston College. Boston College over 80 PPG in 2001.
Belmont. Belmont did not lead Independents in scoring, seconding to Texas-Pan American in that aspect.
Oregon. Oregon finished in the middle of the Pac-10 in average points per game, however.
Murray State. Murray State did not have such a good season in 2001.
America East Conference. Binghamton was a member of the America East Conference along with Albany, Boston, Hartford, Maine, New Hampshire, Stony Brook, Vermont & Maryland Baltimore County.
