James Matayoshi Mitose. Mitose, although better known for Kempo, was a ninjustu instructor with a Koga lineage. His Kempo included Karumijutsu footwork which was derived from ninjutsu. There are reports of previous instructors in Canada but as far as I know these are unsubstantiated.
Iga and Koga. Ninjas were Japanese and not employed outside of Japan. The 2 main fuedal centres for a long time were the Iga and Koga regions.

Stephen K. Hayes. Stephen K. Hayes was taught by Soke Hatsumi. Frank Dux is the person portrayed by van Damme in the movie 'Bloodsport'. Jack Hoban is another student of Bujinkan Dojos. David Stirling was the major force behing the establishment of the British SAS during WWII.
British special forces. British special forces were generally thought to be the first Westerners taught the art in Japan during the Allied occupation post-WWII.
Toshitsugu Takamatsu. Toshitsugu Takamatsu was the 33rd grandmaster of the Togakure Ryu and grandmaster of a further eight distinct martial arts all taught under the umbrella of the Bujinkan Dojo. Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi is the 34th grandmaster of the Togakure Ryu. Wayne Roy is a Student of Hatsumi Sensei. Frank Dux was the subject of the movie "Bloodsport".
Togakure Ryu. Daisuke Togakure was the founder of this ryu around 800 years ago although it has a much older heritage going back through the Shugendo Yamabushi. Not to be confused with the Bujinkan Dojo which is the umbrella under which the Togakure Ryu has been gathered.
