No. Another difference from hockey. If a player enters the crease the referee blows the whistle and the play is stopped.
In the center circle. The visitor team starts the ring in the center circle on their side of the red line. One of the defense takes the ring and passes it to one of her players. The game begins.
The visiting team gets possession of the ring in the center circle. At the start of the first period, the visiting team starts with possession and in the second period, the home team starts with possession. In the event of a shootout, the referee flips a coin and the captain of each team participates. The winner will get possession at the start of the first overtime and the loser will start with possession at the start of the second overtime.

Puts hands above head and brings them together in fist. It is not a penalty to have your hands too low on your stick, though it does give the other team possession.
