 'Bad Girls' - Seasons and Episodes
Carol. While most of the inmates were taking part in a dress rehearsal for the upcoming Larkhall fashion show, Carol Byatt screamed in pain in her cell. Although Carol was almost immediately rushed off to hospital the next morning, it was much too late to save her baby.

30. Monica found adjusting to prison life difficult, but her only real concern was for her son, Spencer. When he visited her, he didn't understand why she couldn't return home, and she was too heartbroken to explain to him about prison.
Zandra Plackett. Zandra found out that her fiance, Robin, had been in rehab and had been clean for three weeks. The two Julies persuaded Zandra to marry Robin inside, but Monica found a picture of Robin in the newspaper, together with news of his recent engagement to a girl called Chloe! Zandra was heartbroken, especially since she realised she was carrying Robin's baby.
She hanged herself. Rachel was increasingly being bullied by Shell. It all got too much for her in the end, so she hanged herself from her bunk.
Nikki and Shell. As the inmates queued for breakfast, Shell spotted Nikki, and she decided to make light of the situation of Rachel's death. Nikki responded by clearing the serving counter to attack Shell. A violent fight erupted, ending only when Nikki is pulled off by the officers and dragged down to what was fast becoming her second home...the block.
Helen Stewart. Helen's boyfriend, Sean, gave a lecture on gardening for the prisoners. He revealed to Nikki that Helen had accepted his marriage proposal, and the expression on Nikki's face showed that she wished she hadn't bothered helping him out earlier when Shell was hassling him.

Nikki. Shell blabbed to Fenner about the hooch. Acting on Shell’s information, Fenner searched Nikki's potting shed and didn't find anything. He failed to notice the watering can bubbling in the pile of compost. As an amused Nikki looked on, Fenner was forced to admit defeat.

Nikki's cell. After lock-up, Helen went in search of support and consolation and let herself into Nikki’s cell. Watching Helen dissolve into tears, Nikki responded with her heart instead of her head and drew Helen into a kiss. After reciprocating briefly, Helen came to her senses and pulled away. Nikki tried to apologise but Helen fleed.

Harley . Dominic was enjoying the spectacle of Monica's release, when he was called to the front gate – a birthday present had been delivered for him – a present that turned out to be a brand new Harley Davidson motorbike, bought for him by Yvonne! He went back to the wing to confront her but even though she admittted nothing, the smile on her face told a different story.
I loved the first series of "Bad Girls", and it was followed by another fantastic series. So stick around for my quiz on Series 2 of this fantastic prison drama.

Dominic. Helen arrived on the roof and inched her way towards Zandra, and eventually persuaded her to hand baby Robbie over. When Helen had the baby, Zandra tried to throw herself from the roof but was saved by Dominic who was creeping across the roof from the other direction.

£200. First note - I had to change the episode title for the sake of this quiz, as the original title is not very appropriate for this site! Jessie was concerned and confused by this unexpected windfall and suspected that Denny might be in trouble. Denny explained that the money was a birthday gift from Yvonne.

Recognise this? H. Nikki was becoming increasingly depressed since Helen's resignation. But the postcard and letter seemed to cheer her up.
Hollamby. In the previous episode, Hollamby was pushed down the stairs by a number of inmates. She returned in this episode wearing a surgical collar and was determined that a full investigation was to be carried out into her "fall".

Barbara . Because Barbara was screaming and being hysterical, Hollamby wrongly assumed that she was Tessa Spall. The real Tessa got taken to G-Wing, where she threatened Karen with a syringe full of HIV-infected blood.
Shell. In this episode, we found out that Shell was sexually abused as a child. Shell acted strangely throughout the episode, and decided she'd had enough of all the trouble she gets inside, especially from Fenner. She went to the G2 landing, dressed in a sheet, with a noose made of knotted tights around her neck.
Lifers' Liaison Officer. With Helen back in Larkhall, at Grade 4 (Lifers' Liaison Officer), Nikki cheered up incredibly. Being as Nikki's a lifer, Helen now had direct access to Nikki's files, which meant that there was even more chance of Nikki forming an appeal.

Gail. Julie J was Whiplash Wanda. Julie S was Saucy Sonia. Yvonne was Sylvia Hollamby. Denny wanted to be Gail because she once knew a girl call Gail. But the Julies told her she can be Vicky The Virgin Bride - "Got banged up before she got...banged up!"

Brain tumor. Most of the girls were enjoying a sneaky drink in the dorm and having a laugh. Zandra was having a good time, until she suffered a fatal fit. Crystal got sent down the block for spitting in Dr Nicholson's face, telling him it's his fault Zandra died.

Julie J. Julie J's regular punter, John, came in to visit her and she had a yogurt pot handy as she gave him a little hand under the table. She dropped the yogurt pot and, as a result, the "Babes Behind Bars" scam got found out and was over.
Allergic reaction to nuts. Someone put crushed nuts into a pepper pot, knowing Renee was allergic. At lunch, Renee covered her food with "pepper" and began to eat as the other girls looked on. Suddenly, Renee staggered off choking for air and then collapsed dead at the foot of the stairs.
Dominic . Dominic showed up on Helen's doorstep with a bottle of vodka. When the phone rang, Dominic answered and a shocked Nikki hung up. Helen was aware of who the mystery caller was, and told Dominic everything when he tried to kiss her. He promised not to tell anybody about her feelings for Nikki.
| Episode 13 - "Oh What A Night!": In the final episode to the series, Nikki escaped from Larkhall to spend a whole night with Helen. She was given the chance to escape because everyone was otherwise occupied with Sylvia's wedding anniversary party. How many years had Sylvia and Bobby Hollamby been married? | "Bad Girls" - Series 2

30. With everyone down in the officers' club for the Hollambys' 30th anniversary party, Nikki donned a nurse's coat and a blond wig and freely walked out the front gates.
Karen Betts . Karen first appeared in episode 1 - "Tug Of Love". Karen's first week on the job didn't go all that well when she was threatened by Tessa Spall in episode 5 - "Mistaken Identity". When rescued by Jim Fenner, her feelings towards him softened up. By the end of the series, Karen and Jim were very much the new loved up couple in HMP Larkhall, although he was still screwing around with Shell Dockley.
Shaz Wylie. All of the inmates mentioned first appeared in this series. Shaz Wylie however, who joined in episode 9 - "The Leaving", won the affections of Denny straight away, much to Shell Dockley's annoyance.
bottle . At the end of series 2, we saw Shell reach for the broken bottle she had stolen from the Hollambys' party. In this season opener, Shell took her revenge on Fenner by sticking the bottle in his stomach.
"Mad" Tessa Spall. Due to Hollamby's working, Shell was horrified to find out she was to share a cell with Tessa. But she got even more scared when Tessa seemed to take an interest in her, showing signs of a physical attraction. When Hollamby realised her plan had backfired, she set it up for "Podger" Pam to attack Shell in the shower.
Julie S. Julie S got out on a tag and stayed at Monica Lindsey's Halfway House. She went to see her son at his school play, but got herself back into prison when she realised Julie J needed her. When she was outside the prison, shouting "Jue!", Julie J heard her, and put down the knife she'd stolen from the kitchen.
Gina . Gina got transferred from D-Wing for slapping an inmate, who she assumed was trying it on with her collegue, and boyfriend, Mark Waddle.
A nail. Di stole the nail from Josh's tool bag. She dropped the nail in the bathroom, and was unable to find it. Shaz found it and decided to pierce Denny's tongue with it. Denny, as a result, almost died of blood poisoning.

PO's office. It was late and Helen walked into to the office in search of Pam’s file. Fenner was leaning against the filing cabinet with a strange look on his face. Helen told him she just needs a file, and he responded by pinning her up against the filing cabinet, saying, "I'll show you what you need", and grabbing her crotch. After a few moments, Helen managed to struggle away and flee.

Lady Lags. With everyone preoccupied with the documentary, Fenner saw the opportunity to get rid of Shell for good. He gave her a chance to escape, and she told Denny, who told Shaz. When a stir occured in the chapel, Shell, Denny and Shaz made their move.
