Trisha. Nikki was dumped my girlfiend Trisha for another woman a couple of years into Nikki's life sentance, which she had received for killing a policeman who tried to rape Trisha. The couple remained friends and it was Trisha who encouraged Nikki to pursue Helen Stewart.

Sean. Helen was engaged to and living with Sean when she first appeared at Larkhall. However, the couple wanted different things, Helen to further her career and Sean to marry and have children. The couple split, helped along by Helen's growing feelings for inmate Nikki Wade.
She served contaminated oysters. Shaz contaminated a tray of oysters with bad juice from an old tray in the restaurant where she worked. This was meant to get back at her boss, but it backfired when the oysters killed two pensioners and a pregnant woman. She is now serving a life sentence for triple murder.
Gina. Prison Officer Mark Waddle was engaged to fellow officer Gina Rossi, until Mark had a drunken one night stand with Di Barker. Di wasted no time in telling Gina, not realising Gina was pregnant. The two had a fight and Gina lost her baby. Gina transferred to another prison.
Charlotte Myddleton. The Honourable Charlotte Myddleton is given the nickname 'Posh' when she arrives in Larkhall after being caught with cocaine. It was her own fater who shopped her to the police. Charlotte does not settle to prison life and alienates the other inmates.
Robbie. Herion addict Zandra gave birth to baby boy Robbie in prison, while still taking drugs. Her boyfriend's parents fought for custody of the child and succeeded when the baby was found to be suffering withdrawal symptoms. Zandra later died of a brain tumour.
She tortured and murdered her ex's girlfriend. Shell Dockley was sentenced to life after she tortured and murdered the woman who her boyfriend left her for. The judge said she was "evil personified". Yeah, but we loved to hate her!

Joanne Froggatt. Teen mother Rachel was played by ex 'Coronation Street' star Joanne Froggatt. Rachel was the subject of vicious bullying at the hands of Shell, jealous because of the attention Fenner was giving her. In addition to her child being taken away as a result of an extended sentence for drug dealing, Rachel decided the only way out was to kill herself, before Shell got there first.
Marilyn. Jim's long suffering wife is Marilyn. After Shell phoned her while Jim was in bed with her in her cell, Marilyn left but then lied for her husband when Shell pressed assualt charges. When Shell attacked him, Marilyn asked for a reconciliation, but by then Karen Betts was on the scene and Jim refused.
Buki. The escape tunnel, made by Shaz and Denny underneath the gardening shed, was discovered by Buki after she spied on the girls. She insisted on helping to dig, but got stuck in an earthfall and nearly died.
Jim Fenner. Jim Fenner is Principal Officer of G wing. He is never far from trouble, but seems to be able to lie and cheat his way out of any situation.
GBH and handling stolen goods. Al (or Albert as she is known by some of the girls) was sentenced to thirty six months after being found guilty of handling stolen goods and Grevious Bodily Harm.

Two Years. The girls were originally sentenced to two years imprisonment for prostitution and the theft of their client's wallets. Then they had their sentences extended as a result of information provided by Virginia O'Kane. The girls are now looking at a further eight years after chucking hot water over Julie J's daughter's pimp.
Tina, Denny and Chrystal. Tina, Denny and Chrystal share a cell with Buki, who on the surface appears to be a ruthless drug dealer, but who is actually very traumatised by her past and regularly turns to self-abuse to hide her pain.
Stuffing toilet paper in her mouth.. Al discovers her, and instead of saving Maxine, she lends a helping hand.
Helen Stewart. During their on-again-off-again relationship, Helen helped Nikki to form an appeal, and when Nikki was released, the two of them got together (again).
Conspiracy to commit murder.. After hiring a hitman to bump off one of her husband's rivals, Yvonne was sentenced to four years for 'conspiracy to commit murder'.
Sylvia Hollamby, Whiplash Wanda, Saucy Sonia and Vicky The Virgin Bride. Denny wanted to be Gail because she once knew a girl called Gail(!) but the two Julies came up with the Virgin Bride ("Got banged up before she got...banged up") name.

Julie J, Julie S, Yvonne and Denny. When Shell discovers the scam, Yvonne has no choice but to let her in, and the two Julies give up one of their phones.
