3. Their children are Sarah, Ben, and Tancy. The kids are played by Amanda Seyfried, Douglas Smith, and Jolean Wejbe. You gather in the first few episodes that Barb agreed to become a Polygamist after she had a hysterectomy, which left her barren. Barb had some form of cancer, resulting in the hysterectomy, and was nursed through it by her sister wife Nicki. As of episode eight, "Easter", we do not know if Nicky nursed Barb before or after joining the family as Bill's wife.
Fans of Lindsay Lohan's "Mean Girls" may remember Amanda Seyfried as the 'not quite bright' Karen in the movie.

She was young and a bit flighty, so Bill asked her to babysit his kids. Eventually, Bill, Barb and Nicki asked her to join their growing family. Margene, usually called Margie, is 21 years old in season one. Her sons, Lester and Aaron, are just over a year apart in age and Bill's youngest biological children in season one.

Lois was the second of what would become five wives, and she gave Frank three children. Joey, Bill's younger brother, has been shown to be a fallen football hero with an addiction problem. Bill's younger sister Maggie drowned in Lake Mead in the mid 1980s.

4. Harry Dean Stanton plays Roman, the man that stole Juniper Creek from under Bill's family. Roman used his power of legal control over Bill, when Bill tried to cut him out of the second Home Plus store. Roman even had his son Alby break into Home Plus to steal information that Bill refused to share with him. In the episode "Easter", it looked like both Bill and Roman were ready to settle their differences. We also found out that Bill's father Frank had been spying for Roman.
Mary Kay Place plays Roman's fourth wife Adaleen. I am not sure how her name is legally Grant, as is Nicki's. Roman does whatever he wants, is what I suspect.
Yes. Albert, called Alby most of the time, is his father's "yes man". He works on the book keeping end of things for the UEB. He seems to be willing to do just about anything Roman may ask of him as well, including robbing Home Plus.
Matt Ross plays Alby Grant. Another amazing character actor, Matt's face can be seen all over Hollywood. He starred in 'The Aviator' and 'Good Night and Good Luck', playing life real men. I've seen him on the TV shows "CSI: Miami", "Bones", "Invasion", and the TV mini-series "Rose Red" all in less than a year.
| Set to be Roman's latest and youngest bride, Rhonda is enjoying her position of power. She comes across as a very direct, but cold young girl, even putting Alby in his place. Daveigh Chase. Rhonda is only fourteen. She seems to be well adjusted to her life at Juniper Creek, despite her need for Sarah's iPod. Daveigh Chase won an MTV Movie Award for Best Villain in 2003 for the one of the creepiest roles I've seen- Samara in "The Ring". This beautiful actress has made the rounds on TV as well, guest starring on "The Practice", "ER", "CSI", and "Cold Case". She had a voice role in the movie "Lilo and Stitch" as well.
Pam. Pam Martin and her husband Carl live across the street from Bill's three houses. Curious from day one, Pam's interest turns into nosy after awhile. Margene is so lonely, that she allows Pam into her home, which is a big no-no in their Polygamist environment. Margene isn't the only one tired of the restrictions, as Sarah bring her friend Heather to the house unannounced one night.
Audrey Wasilewski is a great character actress.

Ana. Ana, the coffee shop waitress that Bill fell for, agrees to marry the family. After a symbolic marriage ceremony, called a "sealing", is performed, the Henricksons try to settle down and adapt to the new situation. But after a few days of Nicki's lack of hospitality, and some jealousy over Barb's friendship with Ana, the new wife realizes that plural marriage isn't for her and leaves for good.
| The so-called prophet Roman Grant goes on trial for transporting minors across state lines. Roman has a spy working in the prosecutor's office, and it's his daughter Nicki. She pushes Roman down a flight of stairs. After seeing an earlier photo of herself in a book of available young girls, called the "Joy Book", Nicki finally realizes that her father was responsible for the first marriage that was forced on her as a young girl (which she has kept secret from everyone). She is furious with her father. As Roman walks by her, now a free man, she gives him a good shove, and he tumbles down the stairs in the courthouse.
One by one, all the witnesses against Roman have been intimidated, except for Kathy Marquart. But her sister, fearing the consequences, puts enough doubt in the minds of the jury, and Roman goes free.
| Bill Henrickson's brother Joey is set to take a second wife, Kathy. His first wife, Wanda, is not very happy about it, and Wanda has been known to poison people. She is killed in an wreck in the compound. A very sad story. On the day Kathy and Joey are to marry, Kathy winds up being pursued in a vehicle chase by Roman Grant. When Kathy grabs an available pickup to flee, her long braid gets caught in the door. Roman catches up to her and rams the pickup, Kathy hits a post and her neck is snapped because of the braid. She dies, and Joey is beside himself with grief.
Several disobedient wives have been sent Nicaragua or Mexico by the evil creeps in the compound.

She dyes her hair blonde. Margie didn't seem to be very sad about her mother's demise, since the woman was a drunk and not very nice. Margie does no grieving, tells everyone she's over it. But then she dyes her dark hair blonde, shocking everyone. Not normally a big deal, but in the Henrickson family they consult each other about every last detail. Nicki insists on telling Margie she looks like a "whore", and Barb (the first wife) is not pleased either.

The Greenes. Hollis Greene and his many wives are as creepy as they come. Selma Greene, who is Roman's sister, could easily be mistaken for a man, pretty unusual for a plural marriage wife. The Greenes have committed murder, put snakes in the Henrickson's home, branded people who cross them (almost branded Bill). They kidnapped Barb's young niece to get the famous document as a ransom payment. Roman Grant and his crafty wife Adaleen are experts at forging historical documents to sell for large amounts of money.
| Bill's mother Lois is feisty and crusty and mean. Her husband Frank, Bill's father, is a horrible, abusive man who takes great delight in tormenting Lois and Bill both.

No. After one especially fierce argument, Lois conks Frank on the head and trusses him up in a chair, and begins to dig a grave for him. After putting a plastic bag over Frank's head, Lois leaves him for dead-only to find Frank gone when she returns. After that, Lois is on the run, Frank is hunting her down.
| Meanwhile, at the prosecutor's office, romance is in the air. Nicki's handsome DA boss is attracted to her, sends her flowers, they go on a date, they kiss. But Nicki is working under a false identity, her boss has no clue, and eventually the whole truth comes out. Margene. Nicki has been using Margene's ID to establish her identity, and when Margene finds out, it's all over for Nicki. Of course Nicki's boss didn't know her real name, or that she's married, or that's she's a polygamist, or that she's Roman Grant's daughter. When the whole truth comes out, it's a bombshell. Bill is furious and kicks Nicki out of the house, wants nothing more to do with her. After years of Nicki's antics, he is fed up. Oddly, the one person who sticks up for Nicki is Margene. Nicki is forced to go back to Juniper Creek.

Joey Henrickson. Joey is crazed with grief over the death of his wife-to-be, and when he knows for sure Roman is responsible, he suffocates Roman with a pillow. Is he really dead? Sure looks like it.

Nicki's long-lost daughter. Nicki had a daughter from her first marriage, a fact she shared with no one in the Henrickson clan. Her daughter Cara Lynn is now fourteen, an age where her picture will soon be placed in the dreaded "Joy Book". At the end of season three, Nicki is accepted back into the family, along with her daughter.
