Moon. Barb was working on Teenie's moon costume when she got called in to substitute teach that day. Teenie's class was having a lunar eclipse pageant at school in advance of the lunar eclipse the next day.
fast. Bill had a dream where he was being chased, both at home and the store. He was being followed by a tapping sound, like the sound of fingers tapping. After Don speculated that it could be a revelation, Bill decided to fast to try to get some clarity.

pick Ben up after baseball practice. Nicki was on the phone with a creditor when Barb came in. Barb asked her to take care of some things since she got called in. In addition to finishing the costume and patching Ben's jeans, Barb also asked Nicki to buy a pair of black tights for Teenie's costume, and take the costume to the school.
Roman. Nicki received a phone call from her father asking to meet with her. At his office, he mentioned that he had co-signed for a $500 limit, but the balance was now $6000. Roman agreed to give Nicki the money for half, but wanted information from Nicki about Bill's new store.
his Superbowl ring. Joey, dressed in a suit, explained that he was going to make a presentation at an old folks home. Wanda said that Roman was using Joey to wow people with his football experiences and then get them to invest in worthless desert ranches. Joey told Bill about lawsuits that were already pending against Roman from previous sales. Joey had given his Superbowl ring to Ben at Wayne's birthday party, and asked to borrow it back.

Tui, the home security guy. Margene didn't know how to sew, and had four small children to take care of. She couldn't find her car keys and ended up setting off Barb's home alarm. When Tui arrived from the security alarm company, Margene talked him into taking her to the school. Unfortunately she couldn't stop for Teenie's black tights and poor Teenie ended up being humiliated wearing the pantyhose Margene had brought.
Heather. Sarah decided to go boy-hunting at a party with her friend from work, Donna. Once at the party, Donna quickly left Sarah on her own in order to make out with a guy. Feeling bad from drinking too much cough syrup to get a buzz, Sarah tried to get Donna to leave but she wasn't ready. Heather, who came by thinking Sarah might need a ride, ran into Sarah outside.
Margene. Barb and Margene banged pots and pans while Teenie danced around in her moon costume. Banging the pots and pans was supposed to scare away the dragon, according to the Chinese. Nicki was still angry at Barb for taking the teaching job, and remained in her house.
to become his legal wife. Lois reminded Frank that he had promised to make her legal after Roberta passed, since Lois was second wife. Frank told her that he wasn't going to make her first wife.
portable TV. When Bill explained to Lois that he was going to stay over for Roberta's funeral, Lois didn't understand why Bill felt he needed to do that. Lois told Bill about Frank refusing to marry her and how she had wanted to make Bill and his siblings legitimate. Bill brought his mother a portable TV which she could take to work with her.
Peg. Peg Embry was visiting Barb, who giddily told her about enjoying the excitement of sneaking around with Bill. Peg wisely told her not to expect too much, after all, Bill wasn't going to leave his wives.
stuttering. Bill reluctantly went with Joey and their father to pick out a casket for Roberta. On the way, Frank pointed out that Roberta had helped Bill overcome his stuttering when he was young. Bill wasn't amused when Frank mimicked how Bill used to sound, especially when Frank said he used to sound like Porky Pig.
wrapped toys. Pam came over to Margene's house to watch "Love Actually". Margene asked if Pam's toy wrapping was for charity. Pam said yes, her relief society was going to toy-bomb Africa. Pam asked about Margene's neighbor (Nicki), but Margene just said that Nicki was shy. Ben came over after Pam left and advised Margene that she could have friends, but she should meet at neutral places.
Rhonda. When Bill walked in, Rhonda began reciting an Emily Dickinson verse. Roman had her start another recitation, but Bill interrupted so that he and Roman could discuss business. Bill proposed to end his dispute with Roman by paying him $50,000 in cash, and not turning over evidence that the attorney general's office could use in a fraud investigation against the UEB.
garbage disposal. Before Bill left for Juniper Creek, Margene had mentioned that her garbage disposal wasn't working. Ben couldn't fix it, so Nicki took a look and determined that the unit needed to be replaced. Instead of waiting for Barb, she decided she would take care of the situation herself. Nicki brought attention to herself at the store after first insisting she should get the family discount even though she didn't have Barb's card, and then having her credit card denied. The cashier called for a manager who then called Barb after suspecting Nicki had stolen Barb's identity.
roofing tiles. After Frank publicly chose Nita as his new first wife, Bill pulled him aside and asked what it would cost for Frank to stop humiliating Bill's mother and make her first wife. Frank asked for $15,000, but said he couldn't do it for less than $10,000. Bill offered $3,000, raised it to $5,000 and asked his father how his roof was. When Frank said his roof leaked, Bill said he'd throw in roofing tiles. Frank said he had a deal if he threw in tar as well. Bill said he'd cut the check and send the supplies when he saw the marriage certificate.
Barb. Bill closed the door to his office so he could call in a refill on his Viagra. Just after he first spoke with the pharmacist, Barb called on his cellphone to remind him he needed to meet her at the historic preservation function. His effort to handle both calls at the same time ended up with the pharmacist hearing Bill's "love you", which Bill meant for Barb.

Zeebold. While Bill coached him, Don called the "polygamy czar" to report that his mother was swindled by a polygamist in a real estate deal. Bill knew the attorney general's office would be interested in any information on Juniper Creek because they had been after Roman for years.
Wanda. Nicki told Wanda what she suspected about Bill seeing someone. Wanda in turn told her husband, Joey, who congratulated a confused Bill about getting a fourth wife.
that he was a polygamist. Wendy told Bill she had seen Don and Peg Embry with two other women at Applebee's. She said she followed the two women into the bathroom and heard them arguing about whose turn it was to cut Don's hair. Bill tried to tell her that things could be something other than what she suspected, but Wendy was sure about it and said that it's against the Church.
dollhouse. Margene was planning on staying at Barb's house all day, but Bill wanted to meet Barb there at lunchtime. To get Margene to leave, Barb told her to make her own house a home. Margene went through a box of things, but decided to throw them away. While she was out at the trashcan, Pam called to her and invited Margene to come and see what she was working on.

on the steps. Bill called Barb just after he left that morning. She agreed to meet him at the house at lunchtime for a tryst. Unfortunately, Nicki saw Bill leaving the house as she and Margene were returning from the store.

necklace. She noticed her necklace was gone while they were still in the room, but they didn't find it. Later when he was back at the store, Bill noticed the necklace in the cuff of his pants. He put it in a gift box which Barb later found on her bed.
together at a hotel. It was Nicki's night, but after Bill made a phone call, he left saying he had to go to the office. By hitting redial, Nicki found out he had called Barb, and saw them driving away separately. One of the men at Bill's back door scared Teenie and Sarah, who ran over to Nicki's house. When Nicki went out front, she found out Alby was there looking for Bill. Nicki lied that Bill was asleep and told Alby to leave. Instead, Alby felt he had to bring Nicki off of her high horse by telling her that Bill took her as a wife so he could get the loan from Roman.
she wants to have a baby. After Barb and Bill returned to the house and everyone discussed what happened with Alby, Nicki said she wanted to say something. She said that she wanted to 'bring another soul into the family". After initally being surprised by this, Barb, Margene and Bill offered congratulations and support.
