Kitty's engagement party. There was a crazy party with both Kitty and Robert's families. Garry Marshall played Robert's crazy uncle and at the end of the episode everyone jumped in the pool!

Rebecca. While giving Sarah's half-sister Rebecca a guitar lesson, Joe (John Pyper-Ferguson) made a stupid mistake and kissed Rebecca. Even though Rebecca admitted that it was partly her fault, Sarah still does not forgive Joe for the kiss.
When competing in game night with the Jones family (also with five children) the game came down to a question about Shakespeare. Kitty had one answer and Rebecca had another. Who did the family go with and what was the outcome? | "Brothers and Sisters"

Rebecca and lost. The question was, "What was Juliet's last name?" Kitty said Capulet, but Rebecca said Montague. The family sided with Rebecca (with the logical argument that no one would name their daughter Juliet Capulet), but were wrong and lost the game. But then Kitty and Nora went and stole the trophy so there was still some happiness in the Walker family.
To get information on her boss/boyfriend Senator Robert McAllister, Kitty and Sarah head to his hometown, Castroville. Kevin. Though Justin volunteers to father the child, Tommy (Balthazar Getty) is mad at him for his persistent drug use. Tommy, instead, asks Kevin (Matthew Rhys)to be the father of his child. Kevin, however, is insulted that Tommy asks him (assuming that Tommy thinks that Kevin, being gay, will never have children of his own) and refuses. In the end both brothers agree to donate sperm for the cause, and it is mixed together so that, unless a blood test is done, no one will ever know who is the true father of Tommy and Julia's baby. However, in season three Elizabeth becomes ill and needs a liver transplant and a DNA test must be done in order to determine her biological father. The results show that Kevin is the father. Saul (Rob Rifkin) was never in the running to begin with.

Tom Skerritt. William (Skerritt) suffered a heart atttack and fell into the family pool while talking to Paige about the sky. The whole family was in mourning after William's death until secrets began coming out about him, like that he had a mistress Holly, played by Patricia Wettig), an illegitimate child (Rebecca played by Emily VanCamp) and had hidden company money.
Kevin. At the end of season two, Kevin and his partner Scotty decided to tie the knot.

Isaac. Isaac was not a well-liked person by Jason McCallister. Robert hired him to help him with his campaign. During season two Issac was involved with Nora.

Sarah,Tommy,Kevin. Kevin, Sarah, and Tommy, go on a road trip to locate the missing pension fund. In the process their car breaks down, and they get stranded at a military bar.

Robert McCallister. During "Holy Matrimony" Kitty told Robert that she payed off the guy who was trying to blackmail him. Robert forgave her and they decided to get married at the end of the episode.
Paige and Cooper. Paige is nine and Cooper is five. Nora and Saul are her mother and uncle, while Elizabeth and William are her niece and nephew via Tommy.
Sarah, Kitty, Tommy, Kevin, Justin. It was revealed that Rebecca was the fifth Walker child after Sarah put her intial with the rest of the siblings to crack the code on her dad's locked account. Although at the end of season two it was found that though the intial "R" was needed to open the locked account, it did not stand for Rebecca. She is not William Walker's daughter.
Ida. Their mother, Ida, comes to town and tells Nora about the party being planned, which was supposed to be a surprise. She and Nora don't have a very good relationship, but by the end of the episode they have made up.
William and Elizabeth. Tommy and Julia have twins, a boy and a girl. Their names are William and Elizabeth. They were born early, and as a result of complications, William died soon after he was born.
Jonathan. Jonathan proposes to Kitty very early on in the season. She doesn't accept it, but they attempt to maintain a relationship. It soon fails and Kitty eventually becomes engaged to Robert McCallister.
Jones. The Walkers used to have annual game nights against the Jones family, but they were abandoned after Kitty insisted that she knew the answer to a question but ended up costing the Walkers the game. When Kitty and Nora run into the family again, Kitty's competitive streak comes out and she re-instates game night.
In the attic at Ojai Ranch. Sarah first found the picture of a baby, believing it to be Justin. After digging around, they came to believe that the baby was Rebecca, thought to be William's illegitimate daughter.
Walker Landing Winery. Originally, Tommy was against the idea of purchasing a winery with Holly, but came around to the idea after he found out that his dead father intended to buy it for him and let him run it.
New York. Kitty lived in New York and hosted a radio show before moving back home to Los Angeles and moving in with her mother, Nora.
Red White and Blue. In the opening episode of the season, Kitty returns to Los Angeles for her birthday and to decide if she wants to appear on a show called 'Red White and Blue'. She eventually decides that she does want to and becomes the conservative political voice of the show.
Ojai Foods - four family members. The family business is name Ojai Foods and was originally started by William Walker. In the first episode of the series, 'Patriarchy', four family members work there - William, two of his children (Sarah and Tommy) and Saul, his brother-in-law.
Two - Sarah and Tommy. At the beginning of the first season, both Sarah and Tommy are married. Sarah is married to Joe Whedon, although it is revealed that they are in marriage counseling. Tommy Walker is married to Julia.
Elizabeth. Julia had been pregnant with twins, a girl and a boy. They had already decided on the boy's name - William. However, the twins were born prematurely and baby William was not doing well. In the episode "Favorite Son", little William needed a kidney transplant and the only possible matching donor present was his twin sister, Elizabeth. Julia and Tommy decided not to risk the lives of both babies, but before they could even tell the doctor their decision, William died.
Major Weiner. In the final episode of the season, "Matriarchy", Nora organized an engagement party for Kitty and the Senator. She invited several members of his family, but came to regret it - they were an even more crazy bunch than the Walkers! They drank excessively, formed a conga line, and broke a lot of stuff. One of the Senator's relatives, his uncle, was called Major Weiner. Nora kept pronouncing it as "wee-ner", when it was actually "whiner". As Nora said, she wasn't sure which was worse!
