Interesting Questions, Facts, and Information

    Clone High

In the episode "Raisin the Stakes: A Rock Opera in Three Acts" what is the secret message that flashes when JFK is shown sitting in a wheelchair?"Clone High"!

I buried Ponce. This is a tribute to the Beatles' "Strawberry Fields Forever". In the last part of the song you can hear John Lennon saying what sounds like "I buried Paul" (although what he's really saying is "cranberry sauce").

What's really interesting is that in the next episode, "Litter Kills: Literally", JFK's best friend, Ponce de Leon, is killed in an unfortunate littering accident.

In the episode "Makeover, Makeover, Makeover: The Makeover Episode", what do Joan and Cleo do after they go shopping for clothes?"Clone High"!

They rob a bank.. They buy some guns and rob a bank, then they go to a spa to get manicures and pedicures. This is such a weird show...

What's the name of Gandhi's second rap song?"Clone High"!

It's a G Old Flag. When his rap demo gets played live on MTV on Spring Break on the sunny beaches of Canada Gandhi becomes an overnight success. However, his creative "genius" can't keep up and his next song is a flop.

How does Principal Scudworth's sidekick, Mr. Butlertron, refer to everybody?"Clone High"!

Wesley. Mr. Butlertron is a robotic butler/companion/vice principal/dehumidifier that Scudworth built.
"He calls everybody Wesley... don't know why." - Scudworth.

Who is Abe in love with?"Clone High"!

Joan of Arc. This is revealed in the episode "Changes" where Abe discovers on prom night that he doesn't want to be with Cleo because he's in love with Joan. In the earlier episodes, Abe is infatuated with Cleopatra.

Who was the one person at Clone High that understood Joan's film festival video?"Clone High"!

Sigmund Freud . He teased her about loving Abe, so she hit him with a chair. She really clunked him a good one, too.

Principal Scudworth has a secret plan to kidnap all of the Clone High students. What does he want to make with them?"Clone High"!

An amusement park. He intends to call it "Cloney Island".

What is Principal Scudworth's first name?"Clone High"!

Cinnamon. LOL! Somehow the name just doesn't seem to fit either a principal or an evil genetic engineer.

In "Film Fest: Tears of a Clone", who was manning the projector?"Clone High"!

Thomas Edison. Eadweard Muybridge would have been a more appropriate reference as the inventor of the moving picture, but Thomas Edison is more well-known, I suppose.

Did you know? Muybridge invented the moving picture (which he called the zoöpraxiscope) as part of a scientific experiment to see if all four of a horse's legs were ever off the ground at the same time when it galloped.

Which "Archie" character is Joan of Arc?"Clone High"!

Betty. And just as Betty was my favourite "Archie" character, Joan is my favourite "Clone High" character. Although as an "angst-ridden goth girl" Joan doesn't match up 100% with Betty, she still has Betty's noble spirit and (as far as she knows) unrequited love for Abe/Archie.

"Clone High" bears a very strong resemblance to the plot of the popular "Archie" comics. Which clone is like Archie?"Clone High"!

Abraham Lincoln. John F. Kennedy represents Reggie and Gandhi would be Jughead. Thomas Edison appears in the show, but he doesn't have an apparent link to the "Archie" comics (yet!).

Who eventually wins the election for student body president?"Clone High"!

None of these. It had seemed that Abe had won when a cute dog came on the stage and became the winner, according to Mr. Butlertron's applause metre. You can still see the dog in later episodes wearing a tag that says "Prez".

The school that Clone High plays against in the basketball league is called GESH. What does GESH stand for?"Clone High"!

Genetically Engineered Superhuman High . Not very encouraging for the Clone High players.

After a horrible prank by the GESH goons, Gandhi hatches a plan to steal the GESH mascot, Geshie. After accidentally almost killing it, Gandhi and Geshie become close friends. It's an amusing sub-plot for the episode. :)

Why can't Joan play on the basketball team?"Clone High"!

Because she's a girl and/or an animal. Principal Scudworth's rules say that girls and animals are not allowed to play on the school's basketball team. But Joan is the best player in the school, so she disguises herself as John Dark (Jean D'Arc? The spelling is never given) and becomes the star player.

What did the number four lie about?"Clone High"!

Being the number five. The poll from the girls' bathroom indicated that Abe was ahead of JFK for the student body presidential elections. To allay Abe's doubts, Gandhi says that numbers don't lie... then a brilliantly anthropomorphized number four runs across the screen shouting, "I'm number five!"

What did Abe volunteer to organize, hoping to keep more riots from happening?"Clone High"!

Film festival. Abe took the opportunity to make a film that divulged the inner workings of his soul. It was something about an alien giraffe winning a football game. ???

How does Gandhi like his martinis?"Clone High"!

Dry. If you've seen the episode, then you know why I asked this question. ;)

Which character is diagnosed with both attention deficit disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, its hyperactive cousin?"Clone High"!

Gandhi. If you haven't seen this episode yet, you HAVE to! Everyone at Clone High thinks it's contagious and shuns him... even his best friend! Special guest star is Canada's Tom Green.

"Makeover, Makeover, Makeover: The Makeover Episode" - JFK: 'Throw some 'er's and 'uh's in there! What's...'?'Clone High' Quotes Quiz - Season One

your hurry. JFK is teaching Gandhi how to get a prom date, by turning him into himself. This is a scene where he is instructing him how to talk like him. Once JFK believes Gandhi is ready, Gandhi gets a makeover to look just like JFK, and then changes his name to 'GFK'.

"Snowflake Day: A Very Special Holiday Episode" - Abe: 'Ow! Somebody put razorblades in the bite-size weiners! Why does my face...'?'Clone High' Quotes Quiz - Season One

keep getting cut up. Throughout the entire episode Abe repeatedly got his mouth/face cut by something. First by the glass that he is forced to eat by Napoleon, then a few times by his and Gandhi's invention, the Knork. And of course at the end when he eats the sabotaged bite-size weiners.

"Litter Kills: Litterally" - JFK: 'Now Mario is dead! I'm killing everyone! Oh why couldn't Ponce have had...'?'Clone High' Quotes Quiz - Season One

"Homecoming: A Shot in D'Arc" - Colonel Principal: 'What would you care to wager? Last year you recall I won your...''Clone High' Quotes Quiz - Season One

first born child . Scudworth's first born child's name is Brian. The Colonel hints that he may have eaten Brian, and as disturbing as this is, the original script had this scene much longer and much more disturbing.

"Film Fest: The Tears of a Clone" - Mr. Butlertron: 'Am I in space? Because you all look...''Clone High' Quotes Quiz - Season One

out of this world. Mr. B. says this to the Board of Shadowy Figures who are having dinner at Scudworth's house. It turns out the Board was going to kill Scudworth but because of Mr. B.'s intervention they had a change of heart.

"Episode Two: Election Blu-Galoo" - Abe: 'You know what hurts the most, Joan? This...''Clone High' Quotes Quiz - Season One

nail i just stepped on. 'You know what hurts the most, Joan? This nail I just stepped on. But there's a metaphorical nail in my other foot, which hurts the second most, and it's from you backstabbing me. So maybe instead of the nail metaphor, I should have used a stabbing one. But it's too late for that now, isn't it?' Abe tells this to Joan when she betrayed him by helping JFK with his campaign. This is one of my favorite speeches in all of 'Clone High' history.

"Escape to Beer Mountain: A Rope of Sand" - JFK: 'So uh, are you drunk enough to...'?'Clone High' Quotes Quiz - Season One

sleep with me. JFK says this to Joan while she is drinking non-alcoholic beer. She then proceeds to drop-kick him, who then pops back up, demanding her to 'Answer the question!' The number of female characters JFK has claimed to have had off-camera sex with this season is approximately 158.
