Narita. The Japan Liberation Front's forces were limited but they were saved by the Black Knights. Kallen managed to create a mudslide with her Guren knightmare frame that eliminated the majority of the Britannian forces which gave the Black Knights a victory.

In the episode "Refrain", Lelouch's group destroyed something called refrain. What was it?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 1-10

Lelouch officially gave his rebellion group a name. What was it?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 1-10

Order of the Black Knights. Many Britannian tourists were held hostage in a hotel by the Japan Liberation Front. The Japan Liberation Front wanted to use the hostages as a bargain deal with the Britannians so that they can control Japan. Rather than helping them, Lelouch decided to free the hostages and take credit for the rescue as Zero. When the hostages were saved during a nationwide broadcast, Zero announced about his group The Order of the Black Knights. He announced that the Black Knights were a group that "protects the weak from those with power." Zero did align with the Japan Liberation Front later in the series.

When Lelouch lost the battle at the Saitama Ghetto, who provided a distraction to let him escape?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 1-10

C.C.. Lelouch stole a Britannian knightmare frame and had Japanese citizens help him fight the Britannians and Princess Cornelia; it was very similar to the Shinjuku incident with Prince Clovis. Lelouch lost the battle and Cornelia demanded all knightmare pilots to exit their knightmare and reveal their faces. This would reveal Lelouch being Zero to Cornelia and the rest of Britannia. Before he had to open the knightmare, C.C. showed up dressed as Zero and fell off the top of a building. The soldiers went after the fake Zero which allowed Lelouch to escape. C.C. told Lelouch that this battle was a trap set up by Cornelia and she needed him to live to fulfill his contract. Lelouch successfully escaped without revealing his identity.

In the episode "The Stolen Mask" a stray cat took Lelouch's mask and ran off with it. After Lelouch took the mask back without anyone knowing, Suzaku decided to keep the cat. What did Suzaku name the cat?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 1-10

Arthur. Lelouch knew that if anyone found Zero's mask on the Ashford Academy campus that it would be over for him. The cat ended up on the roof with the mask and Lelouch managed to get the mask back without anyone knowing. Even though Suzaku kept Arthur, the cat did not like him and bit him frequently in the series.

After Prince Clovis' death, who became Viceroy of Area 11?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 1-10

Princess Cornelia. Cornelia li Britannia was the second princess in line to the Britannian throne. She believed that Britannia was the superior nation and race. She became Zero's first enemy and was an excellent knightmare pilot and leader. Her sister, Third Princess Euphemia became friends with Suzaku.

When Lelouch formed a rebellion group with the terrorists at Shinjuku, he gave himself a code name that both Britannians and Japanese recognize him as. What was that code name?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 1-10

Zero. Zero always wore a mask and cape. Lelouch also had a voice modifier in the mask so that no one could recognize his voice. Zero became a symbol of hope for Japanese citizens and a symbol of one of the biggest enemies Britannia had ever dealt with.

Which Ashford Academy student council member was one of the terrorists Lelouch helped in Shinjuku?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 1-10

Kallen. Kallen Kozuki, her Japanese name, or Kallen Stadtfeld, her Britannian name used in Ashford Academy was born to a Japanese mother and a Britannian father. She joined Lelouch, not knowingly at first, to rebel against Britannia. Her parents divorced but they still live with each other. Her mother was hired as a maid but was treated poorly because she was Japanese. Kallen wanted to liberate Japan so that she and her mother could live a better life. Kallen became the top pilot of the knightmare frame Guren and was one of Lelouch's most valuable members in his rebellion group.

Honorary Britannian, Suzaku Kururugi became the pilot of what experimental knightmare frame?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 1-10

Lancelot. Suzaku was the son of the former Prime Minister of Japan now called Area 11. He was Lelouch's childhood friend however they had two very different philosophies on how to make the world a better place. Lelouch believed in taking out the powerful Britannian Empire by a rebellion. Suzaku believed that if he was working for the Britannian Empire, he would rise in the ranks and have a say into changing Britannia's ways of imperialism. Although Lelouch and Suzaku were very good friends, they ended up fighting each other in the war between the Britannians and the Japanese. Ironically Lelouch, a former Britannian prince, was fighting for the Japanese while Suzaku, a natural born Japanese citizen, was fighting for the Britannians.

Lelouch received his geass from a mysterious girl named C.C. in Shinjuku which gave him a supernatural power. What can Lelouch now do with his geass?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 1-10

He can give anyone any order he desires as long as he looks at them directly in their eyes. Before C.C. gave Lelouch the geass, she told him that he must keep a contract with her to receive the power. The exact details of the contract were revealed later in the series. At the time Lelouch was cornered by Britannian soldiers who were going to kill him because they thought he was a terrorist. C.C. told Lelouch that he could get out of this situation alive if he had the power of geass. Lelouch used his geass on the soldiers telling them to kill themselves which they did. Lelouch knew that with this power he could make anyone do anything he wanted. Later on he learns that although this power is great it can also be a curse.

What was the name of the mysterious boy who told Suzaku that Zero had the power of geass?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

V.V.. At this point in the series not much was known about V.V. After telling Suzaku about Zero, he goes to Ashford Academy and kidnaps Nunally. C.C. had an instinct that told her that Nunally was captured but she could not explain it. She told Lelouch but he did not believe her at first. After calling Rivalz at Ashford Academy, he knew that Nunally was not at the school. C.C. told Lelouch that Nunally was at Kamine Island and Lelouch left the battle to find her.

During the massacre in the episode "At Least with Sorrow", Princess Euphemia was shot which led to her death. Who shot her?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

Zero. Lelouch knew that the only way Euphemia could stop killing innocent Japanese people is if he killed her himself. Lelouch felt terrible for using his geass on her accidentally but he knew that killing Euphemia was the only way to stop the slaughter of innocent Japanese since the geass would never stop. Suzaku sees her getting shot and takes her to the Avalon in hopes for treatment but nothing could be done. Suzaku was confused as to why Euphemia would do anything like this which was when a mysterious boy showed up and told Suzaku that geass did this to her and that Zero had this power.

Lelouch geassed Princess Euphemia to kill all of the Japanese, did he intentionally do this?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

No. This was the turning point of the entire series. Originally Lelouch wanted Euphemia to shoot him as Zero in front of the crowd with a bamboo gun at the new Specially Administrated Zone of Japan so that they would lose her trust and cheer for Zero when he "recovers" from getting shot. Euphemia thought that her idea would end the war and everyone could live in peace Japanese and Britannian alike. Euphemia also told Lelouch that his sister Nanally wanted this as well, that was the main reason Lelouch became Zero, to make a better world for her. Lelouch agreed with the new zone but he mentioned that he could make Euphemia do anything he wanted. Lelouch said hypothetically that if he told her to "kill all of the Japanese" that she must do it, he did not want to use the geass but his geass became so powerful that it will always work when looking at someone in the face and he can no longer control it, similar to what happened to Mao. Euphemia then came outside and told all Britannian soldiers to kill all of the Japanese which created a massacre. Lelouch thought that he might as well exploit the situation and told the Black Knights that Euphemia was a tratior and that they must save the Japanese. If Lelouch did not use his geass on Euphemia, the war between the Black Knights and Britannians would have peacefully ended.

In the episode "Declaration at the School Festival", what did Princess Euphemia announce at Ashford Academy?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

She was creating the Specially Administrated Zone of Japan. This new zone which would be located near Mount Fuji would give Japanese all rights that Britannians have and that they would not be addressed as "elevens". Lelouch was mad at her decision saying that she was naive. Lelouch knew that this would not liberate the entire country and Princess Cornelia was upset that Britannia was giving up any land to the elevens. Euphemia thought that this new zone would end the war between Britannia and the Black Knights.

In the episode "War at Kyushu", exiled Japanese government officials launched an attack on Kyushu. Who was aiding them in battle?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

Chinese Federation. Zero and Suzaku were working together against this group. Zero knew that this was an excuse for the Chinese Federation to attack Area 11 in hopes of invading it. Many of the exiled Japanese officials Suzaku knew as a child, they worked directly for his father. Suzaku and Zero won the battle and the Japanese government officials were arrested by the Britannians and the Chinese Federation withdrew any remaining forces and did not continue to fight.

In order to escape from Kamine Island in the episode "Island of the Gods", Zero and Kallen stole a Knightmare frame that could do what?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

Travel through air. The Gawain was an experimental Knightmare and the first one that could fly, most Knightmares could fly in the next season. Lelouch, Euphemia, Suzaku, and Kallen were all stranded on this island. Lelouch and Euphemia were on one part of the island while Suzaku and Kallen were on another. There Euphemia learned that Lelouch was Zero and Suzaku learned that Kallen was one of the Black Knights.

As Suzaku's popularity grew with the Japanese after he was knighted, the Black Knights were worried that their group would lose support. Who in the group suggested assassinating Suzaku Kururugi?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

Diethard. Diethard was the only Britannian other than Zero in the Black Knights. He was used in the group as a spy and he provided useful information for the Black Knights. He only supported Zero because he thought it would be a great story; he was a media executive prior to joining the Black Knights. Diethard never showed loyalty to the Britannians or the Japanese in the series. His suggestion to assassinate Suzaku was denied by Zero, he wanted to capture him alive in battle. Diethard still told Kallen to try and kill him which she attempted but she was stopped by Lelouch. Even though Lelouch knew that Suzaku was his enemy now, he did not want to kill him.

In the episode "Knight" Suzaku Kururugi became the knight for which member of the royal Britannian family?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

Princess Euphemia. In the royal Britannian family, any princess had the option to have a knight to protect and serve them. It was very shocking that Euphemia chose an Honorary Britannian as her knight; many Britannians thought that only naturally born Brtiannians should be considered worthy of knighthood. Suzaku accepted the position and was willing to protect and serve Euphemia at any cost.

Prior to Mao's death in the episode "Nunally Held Hostage", he revealed someone's secret past. Who learned who's secret from Mao?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

Lelouch learned that Suzaku killed his father. Using his mind reading geass, Mao revealed that Suzaku killed his father to end the war between the Britannians and the Japanese. Suzaku knew his father would refuse to surrender and he thought that this would end the war if the Prime Minister of Japan died which it did. The adults around Suzaku lied for him and told the media that the Prime Minister committed suicide. Suzaku did not learn about Lelouch being Zero until the finale of season one which was appropriately titled "Zero".

When Mao abducted C.C. in the episode "Cheering Mao", who did Lelouch geassed to shoot Mao? "Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

The Britannian police. With Mao's obsession with C.C., he kidnapped her and attempted to saw her legs off with a chain saw, his thought process was that she could not leave him if her legs were cut off. Lelouch managed to distract Mao with a pre-recorded conversation to give the Britannian police enough time to find Mao at the amusement park. Lelouch thought that Mao died from the many shots fired by the police but he survived. If he geassed the police to "kill" instead of "shoot" then Mao would have died there. Managing to survive the shooting and escape from the police, Mao kidnaps Lelouch's sister Nunally. Lelouch and Suzaku save her from him in the next episode "Nunally Held Hostage".

In the episode "Geass vs. Geass" we learned that Lelouch was not the only person with the power of geass. A Chinese man named Mao also had geass but his was different than Lelouch's. What made Mao's geass different from Lelouch's?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

He could read anyone's thoughts within a 500 meter radius. C.C. gave Mao geass before she gave the power to Lelouch. Even though Mao's geass became so powerful that he could not stop reading people's minds when they were within 500 meters away from him, he was able to focus his geass on one person only listening to their thoughts. Mao fell in love with C.C. because she was the only one he could have a conversation with, his geass had no effect on her.

In the end of the episode "The Messenger From Kyoto", Shirley told Lelouch which family member of hers was killed at Narita?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

Her father. Shirley's father was not involved in combat; he died from the artificial mudslide created by Kallen that destroyed most of the town. Before this moment, Lelouch never thought of the innocent lives that were lost while the Britannians and the Black Knights battled each other. He was very good friends with Shirley and he felt very guilty for being responsible of her father's death. He later erases her memories with his geass about her father's death in the episode "Geass vs. Geass".

Who rescued Princess Cornelia at Narita from Kallen and Zero?"Code Geass" (US) Season 1 Episodes 11-25

Suzaku Kururugi. Princess Euphemia was the one that wanted Suzaku to save her sister. Cornelia felt ashamed that an Honorary Britannian came to save her; she would had only accepted help from full Britannians. With the rest of the Britannian knightmare frames either trapped from Kallen's mudslide or were too far away to arrive in time, Suzaku showed up in the fastest knightmare frame and saved Cornelia.

In season 1, which two characters learned Zero's true identity, but promptly forgot?Code Geass

Shirley and Villetta. Shirley and Villetta learned his true identity at the same time; Shirley shot Villetta which caused amnesia, and Lelouch himself ordered Shirley to forget. Nunally and Milly almost never learned his true identity, C.C. and Mao never forgot, and unfortunately Euphemia and Clovis took that secret to the grave.

In 2008, "Code Geass" started airing on "Adult Swim". The English voice actor of Lelouch Lamperouge also does which main character, from an anime is or was also on Adult Swim?Code Geass

Ichigo Kurosaki from "Bleach". Both were voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch. It's somewhat interesting hearing the same voice actor come from two characters with extremely different designs. It's more apparent when "Bleach" runs just before "Code Geass", or vice versa. Johnny also did voices from "Eureka Seven", "Fullmetal Alchemist", "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex", "Moribito", "Samurai Champloo", "Trigun", "Witch Hunter Robin", and "Wolf's Rain"; all of which were also aired on Adult Swim at one point. Spike Speigel and Mugen were both voiced by Steven Blum, while Light Yagami was voiced by Brad Swaile.

In the episode "The Stolen Mask", who was it that stole Zero's mask?Code Geass

The cat, Arthur. C.C. unwittingly allows the cat to go free, mistaking what Lelouch said to Nunnaly to be addressed to her. Milly only makes things worse by promising a kiss from one of the student council members to whoever caught the cat. It was a vicious chase between the entire Ashford academy; Kallen and Shirley didn't want to give kiss, Milly was trying to find out Lelouch's big secret, Rivalz wanted a kiss from his sweet Milly, Lelouch just wanted his mask back, and even Suzaku was just doing it because he was told to! Luckily for Lelouch, nobody actually saw the mask. Neither Rolo or Mao had appeared in the series yet.

What is C.C.'s favorite food?Code Geass

Pizza. Much to Lelouch's dismay, she always charges for the pizza on his account. In the Japanese version, a "Pizza Hut" logo is always shown on the boxes, but in the English version it was cut out because Pizza Hut didn't sponsor it.

Who refers to Lloyd Asplund as "the Earl of Pudding"?Code Geass

Rakshata Chawla. She calls him this because his favorite food is pudding. She seems to have been an acquaintance of Lloyd's, and is particularly enraged in learning that he changed a design of hers without her permission. Lloyd usually calls her "That Woman".

What is the color of eyes of nearly all of the Britannian royal family?Code Geass

Purple. I say nearly all, because it's often overlooked that unlike Schneizel, Euphemia, Cornelia, Lelouch, Nunnaly, Rolo, the Emperor, and even lady Marianne, it was lone Clovis who had blue eyes. Granted, this is only a small few of the Britannian Royal family, but it is the majority actually seen in "Code Geass".

In the first season, "Lelouch of the Rebellion", who is Milly Ashford engaged to?Code Geass

Lloyd Asplund. Milly's family arranges the marriage as an attempt to regain some status, while Lloyd simply wants the designs of the Knightmare Frame "Ganymede" that was test piloted by Marianne. He is head of the research team "Camelot" and the creator of the "Lancelot". Suzaku Kururugi is the pilot of Lloyd's Lancelot and quite fancied with Euphemia, while Kanon Maldini is a subordinate of Prince Schneizel, and Kizuna Kagesaki is a deceased member of the Black Knights.

What is C.C.'s real name?Code Geass

It was never revealed. Though it is discovered and said by Lelouch, the audience never hears it. She seems to particularly enjoy hearing her name said in a loving way, and is upset when Lelouch doesn't say it properly. Abigail Williams is from the Arthur Miller play "The Crucible" and the other two are made up.
