 Cold Case
2001. Latrice went missing when she took the bus, she never returned to her sister.
1999. Tina was a fourteen year-old girl who went running in the woods carrying a small bottle of spray gas that could turn your eyes blind.
George. George worked in the cold case office and he put the files in order of crime reports, he used the files to find out personal information on his victims.
vodka orange without vodka. Lily went to see her sister who worked in the bar. Lily offered her a place to sleep at her house until she found a permanent home.
Walking on Sunshine. "Walking on Sunshine" is a song that is sung by Eddy Grant. The man sung that song because that song was on the radio when Janet was beat.
11. She was 11 years old and she was looking forward to living with her mother because her dad would always beat her. She carried a little hamster with her while she was at the store.
November. The man killed in November because a constellation of stars in the sky showed up in November.
9. All the women were found in the woods. They had all been hunted, stripped of their clothes, and (after they were dead) their heads were cut off.
November 3, 1985. She was killed on November 3, 1985 when her daughter was only 11 years old. When she died, her daughter went to live with her father and he abused her.
Janet Lambert. Janet Lambert worked at a store and she left her husband because he abused her and her daughter. She went to bring out the trash and was never seen again.
Bennett Cahill. Bennett called Paige and drove with her to a park. Jane was hiding in the back. She hit Paige with a dumbbell, causing the head bleeding. Paige manages to get out of the car and run. Jane yells at Bennett to kill Paige and he runs after the girl. When Paige stumbles and falls, Bennett catches up and shoots her. Jane arrives at the scene after Paige has been shot.
Heidi. Heidi Busch, played by Isabell Dahlin, provides the detectives with information on Paige (Summer Glau). She says that Paige sent her notes indicating she had a relationship with Bennett and that Jane, Bennett's girlfriend, found out about it and called her names on the phone.
All of these (Assistant DA, Above cops, Ivy league jerk). Valens has lunch with Stillman and Rush when Kite's name comes up for the first time and Lilly classifies him as assistant DA and ivy league jerk.
Rush confronts ADA Kite in the hallway and Valens finally sees Kite for the first time. Rush states that Kite is "above cops". Valens comments to Rush, that Kite "ain't above checking you out".
He is diabetic and needs daytime work hours.. Justin Chambers, who played Rush's partner Lassing, only appeared in four season 1 episodes and was briefly seen in the first episode of season 2 when the triple murder from the pilot episode was reinvestigated.
He hit a dog and took the animal to the vet.. When Harrell is questioned for the second time by Rush and Valens, he says he had tickets to "Raiders of the Lost Ark", a movie he was going to see with Bennett and his girlfriend Jane.
He was going to steal from the shop.. Ricky had a key to the store and was going there to steal equipment. He admits to doing that when Rush and Valens interview him.
A matching set. Will Jeffries is played by Thom Barry. Thom Barry also played in the pilot episode of "Without a Trace". He portrayed a police officer named Frankie. Nick Vera is played by Jeremy Ratchford. Mr. Ratchford was also seen in an episode of "NYPD Blue" and several episodes of "Blue Murder" as Det. Jack Pogue.
Al Clarkson. Al Clarkson, played by Doug Kruse, was Paige's boyfriend at the time of her death and considered violent. Dylan Cope played the 1981 Al Clarkson.
Ricky. Ricky, played by Tim deZarn, wants a reduced sentence for a crime he committed and shares with Rush and Valens that he saw Will washing blood out of his car the night Paige died. Paige is played by Summer Glau.

Lilly Rush. Scotty introduces himself to Nick Vera. He acknowledges Lily Rush after John Stillman introduces her as his new partner. His comment to Lilly is that he expected a guy. Lilly's comment to this is: "You got the only girl in the joint."
Nathan. Nathan and Colin walk back home on the train tracks. Colin wants his mother to get better and makes a wish standing on the tracks when the train hits him. Nathan encouraged Colin to stand on the tracks even though he saw the train coming.

Leah. The confrontation in the entrance hall seems to clear the air between Scotty and Lilly. Will Jeffries interrupts their arguments and provides new information on the case. Jeffries notices that something's not quite right with Lilly after Scotty returns to the office, but he chooses not to say anything.

Nathan. Nathan came to pick up Colin and found him in a locked ward because of his sexual assault history. He took Colin home and stayed with him until Sarah returned from the hospital. We find out that Nathan cut his trip to Vermont short where he tried to get housing and loans for his continuing studies.
Leah. Leah comes to Colin's home to apologize and return Mr. Wilson. Colin tells her his mother is taking a long bath and Leah checks the bathroom. She finds Sarah unconscious and calls 9-1-1.
Scout Tyler-Compton plays the 1993 Leah. She can also be seen as a Fairy in "Charmed". She also played in "Without a Trace".
Amy Sloan plays the 2005 Leah. She also played in an episode of "Without a Trace" and can be seen in several episodes of the "Gilmore Girls" as Sheila.
Mr. Wilson. Colin gives the bunny to Leah as an apology for the "Music Room Incident". Leah returns the stuffed animal when she apologizes to Colin for telling a lie.

Josh. Charlie Babcock played Josh as a teenager and as an adult. Most of the characters are portayed by two different actors. Charlie Babcock also appeared in several episodes of "Desperate Housewives".
Breast cancer. Jackie Swanson played the role of Sarah Miller. She is probably more recognized for her appearance in "Cheers" as Kelly Boyd, aka Kelly Gaines.
Mom.. The last scene shows Lilly in the hospital with the personnel working on her. The last word we hear her say is "mom".
