It was, in fact, Rachel who was killed, she died in a car crash in the penultimate episode. Thanx for playing! :)
Manchester United. Not hard, as 'Cold feet' is set in Manchester. Pete's walls are covered in Man U posters, whilst Adam can be seen quite often donning his Man U scarf. Jenny, incidentally, has a very stong Manchester accent. Fay Ripley, who plays her, is actually from Surrey and speaks with a southern accent in real life.
To make love in a shop window. Possibly one of the funniest moments ever, this fantasy went hideously wrong when acted out. It begins to rain, so Adam desperately tries to remember it, to no avail. They meet again when Rachel calls him at work.
Adam. He was named after Adam (James Nesbitt) who assisted in little Adam's birth.
Australia. Jo was Australian. Pete was previously married to Jenny. Fay Ripley, the actress who played her, left the show at the beginning of the fourth series.

Adam Preston Algernon Gifford. After Adam helped Jenny through her labour, she decided to call the baby Adam. Pete was taken to the hospital to be with Jenny by a helpful police officer, whose name was Preston. Finally, Pete's dad wanted baby Adam to continue the family name Algernon, but Pete didn't agree. However, after his dad's death on the day of Adam's christening, he gave him the name Adam Preston Algernon.
