Community General Hospital .
Co-owner of BBQ Bob's. Jessie and Steve own BBQ Bob's together. They are always busy, so they must have really good BBQ! They have a few unexpected things happen at BBQ Bob's.
cabin. Jessie was at the cabin waiting on Steve when he was supposedly abducted by aliens. They were going to try to get away for the weekend and do some fishing. Needless to say the 'aliens' ruined this trip!
Community General Hospital. Dr. Sloan works at Community General Hospital. There is never a dull moment at this hospital. Anything can and does happen at this hospital. Whether it is a disappearing corpse or a doctor who helps dying patients take their own lives, there is always something going on!
'Happy Days' and 'Charles in Charge'. Scott Baio played Chachi in 'Happy Days'. He also played Chachi in 'Joanie loves Chachi' which was a spin-off from 'Happy Days'. He played as Charles in 'Charles in Charge' where he supervised 3 children to help their parents out.
Barry Van Dyke. Barry Van Dyke is really Dick Van Dyke's son. Dick Van Dyke's daughter and his grandchildren also play parts on 'Diagnosis Murder' with him. They are not regulars like Barry Van Dyke though.
Bentley. Amanda's last name was Bently when the TV show first started but she later gets married and her last name becomes Livingston.

Alex. Shane played several other roles in "Diagnosis Murder". He played Tommy from "Never Say Die", Jake from "Down and Dirty Dead", and Shane from "Blood Brothers Murder". He played Alex from 1999-2001.
Mitchell. Mr Briggs mentions her name in the episode "Broadcast News" when he is on a cleaning streak.
8 years. Steve really despised his sister for always running away from her problems and especially for running away for so long this time.
purple Corvette. Jack metioned he drove a "purple Vette parked in the doctors' garage" to his friend Chet in the episode "Nirvana".
Minnie. Norman mentions his mother on many occasions thoughout the series especially when he find a suitor for himself.
Red. The Govenor's wife recklessly runs down a homeless man after her attempt to frame another man for the murder of her husband.
3rd. He has a beautiful beach house in Malibu where we often see him enjoying Tai Chi!
20 years. There is an interesting scene in which Mark tells Steve not to shave in that direction because he will cut himself and Steve assures him he has been doing this for 20 years! He cuts himself soon after.
boat. Jack found out that his high school friend the "call girl" kept her secrets in Lily's head.
