Integra Wingates Hellsing is the "master" of the powerful vampire named Alucard (which is Dracula spelled backwards), even though she's a human. She "awoke" Alucard when she was a child and her uncle was trying to kill her. Their relationship is, however, more of a friendly one as Alucard loves baiting and teasing Integra.

Bubbanshee bites her, and in result Integra stabs herself so she won't turn into a ghoul. Her explanation to Seras Victoria was "I have impure blood in my body".
