Creative Writing. Paula Small teaches creative writing. Brendon tells Dixie Smithly, the reporter from channel one news, that he gets his creativity from her, then he bashes her by saying 'My mom teches creative writing, and I've read some of her work, NOT very good, but if i get it from anyone it's her.'
Ponopolis. We find out Jason's last name in the episode where he gets beat up by Shannon the 'Cannon,' the neighborhood bully.
Jon Katz. Jon Katz is also the voice of Dr. Katz, and also helped write 'Home Movies', 'Dr. Katz' and 'Science Court'. All which were at one time done in Squigglevision.
Marbles. Dwayne makes a song about not putting marbles in your nose, but in it there is a subliminal message 'Don't put marbles in your nose, PUT THEM IN THERE, do not put them in there.'
Lonni. He went out with her for 2 days!!
Varicose Veins. McGuirk called the veins he traced the 'Tigris,' 'Euphrates,' and the 'Fertile Crescent.'
Parent Teacher Conferences. At a prior parent teacher conference Paula brought drinks and got drunk.
Scurvy. Only pirates get scurvy, it's a lack of vitamin C, and it causes bleeding gums!!
Janine Ditullio. Paula Poundstone did the voice of Paula Small in episodes 1-5. She was also accused of performing sexual acts on her foster children. She was put in prison, and that's why she couldn't be the voice of Paula Small anymore.

Walter and Perry. Walter's sister got beat up by Shannon and Perry's mom got beat up by Shannon. Later Perry claims to have been beaten up by Brendon, but this isn't true because Brendon has never beaten anyone up.
Patty's Plants O' Plenty. There was a huge plant behind Melissa while she was filming Brendon with his cactus. This plant was a Venus Fly Trap.
1955. Brendon asks his mom 'What is this 1955? We're solving problems with cookies?' This just goes to show Brendon's amazingly developed sense of humor. He's 8 and look at what he's doing. OUTSTANDING!
Dentures. Jason too has a very developed sense of humor. He puts in the dentures and puts his hands on Brendon and Melissa's heads and says 'I'm an old man, I am an old man. What are you young kids doing? Raaa, Raa, Raaa. I AM AN OLD MAN!' Jason is a great asset to the show.
Eugene. Eugene is a foreign exchange student from Russia. He pees in the canteen to impress Lonni.
B-E-M. McGuirk ignores the heckler, and by doing so he gets to stay on as coach of the soccer team. A few minutes later, when the heckler is driving home, McGuirk comes out of the shadows of his backseat and runs him off the road.
Charlie. Charlie can't say anything right. At one point in the show he says 'Thanks Diskie'(Thanks Dixie) and 'Brendon, Jastin and Coleestie Produkies' (Brendon Jason and Melissa Producers.) He can't speak correctly at all!
Dr. Teachum. The educational video was supposed to teach kids not to put marbles up their noses. When Brendon is done showing the film, all the kids have marbles up their noses.
'I'm a Little Teapot'. Brendon moved Melissa's Grandpa's mouth for him while filming, but oddly enough his voice comes out. Was her Grandpa really singing 'I'm a Little Teapot?' WEIRD!
Ned. Ned fought in WWII. Brendon made a film about the war in which Ned saves a mans life. McGuirk plays Ned in the film, but on one condition: He gets to make a dating service video in his underwear. And McGuirk says 'Hey ladies you wanna wake up next to this?'
Thurman. Brendon resigns as president because he thought that Shannon beat up Thurman and everyone else involved. Later Melissa finds out it wasn't Shannon. Thurman is just really clumsy and fell, that's why he looked beat up.
Reckless. McGuirk's car is a Thunderbird, and when he drives it he wears sequined gloves.
Soccer. This is obviously a lie because Brendon is the worst player on the team. Plus, how can he be the best when Riley is the best (at everything)?

'Dark Side of the Law'. Well, we all know that this preview was so well put together. It was just like a real preview. This just shows the amazing abilities of these 3, 8-year-old prodigies. BRAVO!
Brendan, Melissa, and Jason. Every week Brendan, Melissa and Jason film a movie which Brendan has written. Some titles are "Psycho Delicate" and "The Wizard's Baker".
Eric. Melissa is afraid to be on the soccer field after dark because, she says, that's where the teenagers go to get drunk. Jason asks her how she knows. She replies "My Dad buys for them".

Walter and Perry. In the wedding episode these two boys propose to each other in the back of the church.
Soccer. McGuirk admits that he never actually played soccer before he started coaching.
Dwayne. The real life Brendan Small plays this character, as well as the fictitious Brendan Small. Small, the real life fellow, created the show "DethKlok" as well.
Paula. Paula Small was voiced by Paula Poundstone in episodes 1-5. She was replaced by Janine Ditullo in episode 6.
Mr. Lynch. Mr. Lynch loves cats. He has a kitten calendar, five cats, and he dressed up as a cat for Halloween.
Andrew. When the family goes to counseling the counselor keeps calling Andrew "Dad". Andrew says he doesn't like that, and the counselor after slipping up and calling him Dad again apologizes and calls him "Andrew".
