Eric. Eric was Sean Potter's foster son. He killed Jason, the stalker, when it appeared Jason was going to break into the Gray home and hurt the family. Eric ran away at his trial. He allegedly went to Canada.
"Annie's Song". He sang the John Denver song "Annie's Song" and got Amy to sing along finally. They had just made love after her Harvard Law school reunion.

Heather. Lily was Kyle's boss at the hospital. The two of them danced around getting together for a long time and it never happened. Lily left town. Heather claimed to be pregnant with Kyle's child and when he rejected her, she ran off. He later found out she likely wasn't even pregnant.
Ned. Peter and Gillian adopted Ned when they thought they couldn't have kids. They had some issues initially because they didn't realise when they agreed to adopt him that he would be black. They got over it quickly and when the birth mother returned to fight for custody, they prepared to give her a huge fight. She eventually withdrew.
Department of Children and Families. Maxine apparently worked at DCF for most of her adult life. Her boss is Sean Potter.
Rebecca. Bruce frequently ends up with Rebecca as Mia, his ex, goes off at a moment's notice to do whatever she feels like! He adores his daughter and is happy to have her.
Jared Duff. Jared Duff was played by Richard Crenna who died in January 2003 of pancreatic cancer. The show honoured him by honouring the character who died of a heart attack in China.
"1000 Oceans" - Tori Amos. This song played throughout the last couple of scenes in the episode where Vincent left for California. It was one of the saddest moments I can remember on the show!
Ariadne. Ariadne was born in a tub in the Gray's living room!
